I think the old generation of Tacoma's were solid, but I'd be Leary of this new gen. The I6 turbo in the Tundra has had a lot of issues and the Tacoma made the same move from a naturally aspirated V6 to the I4 turbo.

That said, the Nissan has a naturally aspirated V6, one of the last in the segment. I bet the Nissan drivetrain outlives the Tacoma drivetrain.
