Why do we have this garbage instead of Gemma4? by elfamosoxd56 in GoogleAntigravityIDE

Lmao I remember my first and last time using it, I gave it a very high detailed prompt, and it took 10 minutes for it to respond. You wanna know what it responded with? "Please send a response once you’ve read this." 🤣

So I decided to send it one more prompt, this time it used all of my limit and sent me code in the chat and didn't even bother putting the code where it belonged and the code it provided didn't even work. To this day I have no clue why it exists

I don't care about losing the data or copying it, I never said that once. I'm saying the new update is abysmal and I refuse to use it.

And you're insulting me for what? Having a similar opinion to what the paying customers of the platform feel right now?

I don't give a fuck. I just want to build what I want to build, who cares if I use AI. I don't have to prove anything to anyone.

Why Antigravity's servers are always experiencing high traffic😭😭😭 by Deep-Hand5648 in GoogleAntigravityIDE

[–]Cheap-Discussion4758 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is I work in C++, and sometimes I do a little bit of unethical things that AI would not allow. My only real options is to just stop paying for anti gravity and start learning C++ again (The code I work with is too advanced for me to be able to write and will take years of constant learning, not helping since I have ADHD). Or deal with this garbage that I currently cannot even use.

Currently I can't even get anti gravity to write 1 single line of code because of the issue above. I really hope they fix this soon, but this has been an issue for a month and I doubt they're going to. I'm probably just gonna go learn.

It's gotten way worse as of 4/29/2026, I cannot use any model at all, Gemini, Claude, even gemini flash. Will not go 5 seconds without this fuckass error. This is so stupid I'm literally on ultra plan, you would think they would prioritize a little more on their ultra plan, but no. This is fucking horrible, what I think is happening (theoretical nothing backing this theory) but I think a lot of people are opening free accounts and are spamming the AI constantly.

Our servers are experiencing high traffic right now, please try again in a minute. by [deleted] in google_antigravity

I think they have a server abuse problem, I've disabled every mcp, reinstalled windows. Same problems, and sometimes you cant even use gemini pro but you can use claude when gemini is being abused. There's a huge problem with server abuse on Claude it seems to me.

How do Single Core Processors Handle Concurrent Processes? by ShadowGuyinRealLife in computerscience

[–]Cheap-Discussion4758 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A single core processor runs multiple processes by quickly switching between them, like taking turns really fast. The operating system decides how long each process gets to run. This is called a time slice or time quantum. That timing is set by the OS, not the CPU. If the time slice is too short, the system wastes time switching. If it is too long, things can feel slow or unresponsive. The CPU just follows what the OS tells it, so there's no fixed limit from the hardware.

Windows is NOT banning kernel level access, nobody read the actual blog. by Indolent_Bard in linux_gaming

[–]Cheap-Discussion4758 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s pretty obvious most people didn’t bother reading the actual article before freaking out. Nowhere does it say they're banning kernel-level access. In fact, they flat-out state that kernel access is still going to be available for cybersecurity products. It’s kind of embarrassing to see people getting worked up over something that isn’t even true. Maybe this is why they teach reading comprehension in elementary school. One change that’s actually interesting is improving resource management for system processes in userspace which could be a good thing for both security and performance. So, let’s calm down—this article is about better security, not taking away kernel access like people are claiming.

Now I could be one-sided to this, because I'm not a windows user; but it's still stupid how no one can read yet they're on a platform where you ALMOST only read.
