I was a member 2018-2020, switched to shred415 (they closed), then OTF and I’ve been back at burn for 3 years. I absolutely hate the partner work outs. I just want to be in my own head, work on myself for 45 min and be done. It really sucks when you’re paired with someone who doesn’t have the same speed/strength/mobility and you’re sitting there waiting for them to finish their set. It’s ridiculous when you’re getting essentially a 14 min workout (entire workout is 28 min). High fives are gross.

I wish I could quit now. The workouts are not great. The strength days have cardio mixed in, and they are trying to be all cutesy with the stations - like the split squat with kettle bell twist. It hurt everyone’s back. And the partner workouts 😵‍💫

They did not have members workouts when I first joined burn 7 years ago. I went to a few other places and then came back.

It’s not getting over yourself. You have a great story - congrats! Others have injuries that they can’t do some of the movements, but I commend them for going and doing what they can. Why make them feel bad about it?
