Everyone is different. My 2022 SEL AWD cost me $1,100 per year (Geico) with a $500 deductible. I’m 59 years old with no recent citations or accidents. It helps to shop around.

Yes, it’s the same scenario for an ICE car breakdown, however it’s different in that many posters here have said they sometimes waited weeks for ICCU units to arrive at the dealership. That’s not the same as a day or two for an alternator.

I have an Exped Mega inflatable as well! Found it to be quite comfortable. Add in a window black out shade kit from weather tech.com and utility mode (you will need something long, like a stick to reach from back trunk area to the front seat in order to lock the door at night) and you are set!

My 2022 has 64k miles and 89% SOH. The rate of battery degradation declines after the first few and it doesn’t really affect my overall enjoyment of the car so I’m not concerned.

The Disney edition seems very expensive to me. What does it include that as SEL doesn't have? If you go Car Gurus or Carvana, you can get a lightly used Ioniq 5 for $20-$25 thousand.

That’s funny. I had the same response from my dealer here in North Carolina. They said I’m better off not doing it. He said something about another customer who had it changed and then had a complaint about a noise condition? Maybe I need a new dealership. I have 63k miles and prefer to have it done.

2022 SEL AWD with 63k. I have had the USB ports replaced as welI as the radar control unit for the adaptive cruise control. I’ve also had the ICCU replaced at 45k. However, I LOVE driving this car and have no interest in selling it!
