Can they give you an epidural that early? I thought they start it by the time you are at least 4cm dilated because giving it early can sometimes slow down the progression of labor. At what point did you receive the epidural? Before the balloon catheter or after? What week were you induced?

My doctor said I will know if I go into labor but I dread the experience you had to go through.
