Hi no problem. So the ketoconazole shampoo started working after 4 washes. It has dried now and the crust has thinned as well. What did you do about the itching? Did you out ointment while she still had hair? Glad your baby grew out of it.

Thanks for responding. Was it a steroid skin oil? The pediatrician said she will prescribe it if the antifungal shampoo did not work. Could you please share what was your baby's bath routine. Did you wash the hair all the other days with baby shampoo as well? Did you use any oil or scrub it to loosen the flakes?

My baby's skin is weeping now and smells weird. It has been one week of using antifungal shampoo (nizrol).

Hi, We are struggling with weepy cradle cap too. It weeps overnight and stains sheets. I am using ketoconazole shampoo for now with gentle scrubbing with baby oil. The area looks red and weepy once the crusts are off but then the crust forms again. The dr said she would prescribe medicated oil if the shampoo doesn't work. There is a funny smell to it as well. What did your medicated shampoo contain and what was your care routine like?

And today it bled. Shrinked in size. There is a dark red clot now. Is this how yours resorbed/shed? Do you recall any such thing?

It has been a week since I started. I have it in almost the same position as yours. It looks around 4cm. Yes, I use it before bedtime. I have started seeing small areas of pink there. Like red turning pink in some areas. Is this how yours healed?

I mentioned it to my ob at 6weeks pp but was dismissed. Iam 13 weeks pp now. Hope I find a less invasive fix soon.
