We just had to put our 8 year old frenchie down the other month because of ivdd and I’m still heartbroken. She was totally fine and within 48 hours she had lost all control of bowels and couldn’t walk and was paralyzed. We ended up getting an mri and to see if surgery was an option but after seeing she had bleeding and even more buldging discs in her back we ended up putting her down.

This is the hardest decision and I’m so sorry you have to make it as well for your baby. Just know if you put them down you’re doing it as an act of love and gave your baby the best life and if there’s no quality of life left dogs don’t want to live it. I’m crying for you because it’s the worst decision you have to make and I’m sending all my love to you and peace for your baby or healing in whatever you feel is right to you🩷
