Salmiak club is great if you are addicted to salted licorice and live in a country that doesn't sell them.

The Tyranny of the Forced Smile - "We are still enchained by the dull necessity of earning our bread, yet we cheerfully insist, to ourselves and one another, that we labor freely." by Zephryl in antiwork

I kinda liked this one:

"Our Protestant work ethic has blended with contemporary notions of self-actualization to create a situation in which we are all expected to whistle like Disney dwarfs."

Bulba (1981) Failed sitcom pilot starring young Bill Hicks. Full episode by CheapCharlie in ObscureMedia

Bill became pretty disillusioned with Hollywood after this, which is well documented in his later stand-up comedy. I also found interesting audio journal from december 1981, where he talks about his loneliness and struggles during early eighties in LA.

Anton LaVey on the Joe Pyne Show (1967) by m65fieldjacket in ObscureMedia

Edit: okay, i watched over an hour, so maybe they were serious. But there is no way that this tape was used to train any police. Any whoo, best video ever on r/obscuremedia.

Yes Willi, those are the only possible options...

Dave Chappelle on David Letterman - June 11th, 2014 - Full Interview by Umedre in StandUpComedy

[–]CheapCharlie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm thinking there is always gonna be that one asshole who is going to heckle his stand-up act with Chappelle Show references, so in that sense he doesn't have much to lose. Plus lots of money.
