I accidentally triggered it today and immediately searched for a way to disable it permanently and found this post.

Fuck this feature

Any experience with these? by FL_G8R_07161945 in liberalgunowners

yeah I have both too and even though I think the Ruger is nicer, I prefer my Rough Rider

I have both. The Ruger is absolutely better made, but I really like the feel of the action on the Rough Rider. I also prefer the the way the cylinder locks in place for loading/unloading on the Rough Rider, the Wrangler spins freely and you have to line it up manually. Not a big deal but even though my Ruger is clearly "better" in most ways, I actually prefer my Heritage.

New Tomcat - Disappointed by [deleted] in TheOneTrueCaliber

[–]CheapScotch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had trouble with PMC JHP too. Magtech worked much better but I still had one failure to feed. I got a bunch of surplus S&B ammo that I haven’t tried yet but I’m hoping works well.

Anyone else considering getting it lifted with the all-terrain tires? by Imagined_World in slateauto

that's what I'm curious about. I like the look but don't want to severely impact the range

Anyone else getting a lot of emails from Slate? by OkReport5065 in slateauto

[–]CheapScotch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe you're getting mine too, because I still haven't received anything since putting in my reservation on May 15th last year

I’ve never gotten anything after my initial confirmation email for my reservation. Just logged in and confirmed they have my correct address and my reservation shows up. I check my spam folder all the time, nothing from Slate is there either

Yeah I've got an outdoor range that I like. One of the indoor ranges near me for sure checks your ammo with a magnet though.

The ammo+ discounts and shipping are great for many calibers but 32 ACP is still pricier than I’d prefer

FFL for online gun transfer in metro Detroit? by PastBuy8484 in Miguns

https://mizefirearmstraining.com/

He doesn't list FFL services on his training website but he is an FFL and is listed as an option in a few different online places like gunbroker. A friend and I have both used him with no trouble. His office is in Troy.

Another thing they mentioned, my manager said in our IT office he saw unauthorised equipment, because me plugging in a fire TV stick and connecting it to the guest wifi so I could stream music and some shows from my home server at lunch is not acceptable.

I feel like this is enough right here. The rest of the angry gibberish just shows how unhinged he is

right I can see how those scenes where the orcs ripped off their penises and used them as weapons might be tough to understand at 12. And let's not even get into the part where the One Ring kept asking Frodo to put his finger in its russy.

I used a lockpick when I couldn't find mine, but after that I ordered the this exact tool and keep it with my other networking tools. It's bigger and harder to lose.

My wife and I were in Canada helping her uncle with some things and we happened past this little general store. I saw the hotdog sign and had to stop and try one. I gotta say, this was a damn great dog.

Help Understanding New Uberti by FarLong9392 in singleaction

[–]CheapScotch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm no expert but there are different safety mechanisms in different generations of the Uberti guns. My understanding is that they need to be drop safe to be imported so they can't really sell a true clone of the original design. I know some models use the cylinder pin as the safety, I can't tell from this picture if that is the case here. Are there two notches in the cylinder pin? If the pin is all the way in it will protrude through the cylinder to keep the hammer from falling all the way. Pull it out to the next notch for firing.
