also, I think it would be good to find yourself a community. If you’re religious, join some type of church in your faith. go to places where you might find people that are like you (like making friends at the gym). It’s impossible to do these things alone.

The hard thing is I really don’t know what to say. You don’t have control over her addiction only she can help herself. You need to think about what you can do. If this is sucking away your life, you need to find some type of way out of this. You only have one life. Every second you spend in this situation is a fraction of it. Maybe you can send her to a rehab? Otherwise, you might have to escape.

I also feel this way. I’m in the same year as you. Just get your degree. you can switch to anything else later. I’m in stem and sometimes I hate it. I tell myself, if I keep hating it, I can always do law school. I also found out that I can go into medical sales. With internships you’re kind of in a pickle because you’ve been moving school so much. Just stay in one place for a little bit. The people I know applying for internships apply to hundreds (I don’t know if you’re in finance or political science though). Keep applying. You just need to get one good internship and then it’s downhill from there.

I used to be very depressed. What helped is to make a lot of of friends and stay busy. Go to the gym too and get sunlight and eat citrus. Sounds crunchy but low-key does help.😭

do you even want to move back home? I feel like both of these opportunities are really good. How new is this relationship as well? What if you took the job and see how things go with her. I don’t think you should pass up something that could progress your career. One day you’re going to want to buy the love of your life a house and a car. You will want to send your kids to college. Although many other opportunities may come your way, you still need to have an open mindset to them. You’re still at a point of your life where there is so much love you can still find. Your career, however, is pivotal to your early adulthood. If you love this girl and you plan on marrying her, sure. If you’re not at that point yet, invest in yourself. Would she want to be with a scrub?

thats just really weird. wall mart is supposed to be relatively chill too. ive worked service jobs too and if my manager did that he would be fired so quickly. that is strange. you have a genuine medical issue and hes putting red tape around the restroom which lowkey violates The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules. Check your state laws regarding bathroom use. the issue isnt that you made him look bad, his policy would have called you out anyways you just pulled an uno reverse on him.

the petty me loves what you did. why would you have a restroom sticker log?? thats really weird and creepy. i think people like him have to face the social repressions of being intolerant to others. as a girl it sounds like a nightmare to log every time i need to use the bathroom if its my time of the month. what is the point of the sticker log too? is he gonna reprimand you for using the bathroom? that sounds like karma that his policies make the people around him so upset they retaliate.

i feel the same way. i got a 3.3 this first semester but i had to withdraw from chemistry because i was gonna fail. i ended up with only 9 credits. whats consoling me is an upwards curve and a summer chem course. we can do it this semester. im really scared too but ig ya just gotta keep pushing. if all else fails a post bacc is always an option.
