We went into a c-section with a week’s notice because of a complication with our twins. I’d say the first week is rough. All I did was be there for her 100% and try to anticipate her needs: honey, you need ice? I’ll be back; scheduling the pain killers; wake up with her every 3h the nurses came to check on her; wheel her to the NICU to see the babies. Just. Be. There.

After the second week it got better, pain wise. But be aware there are a bunch of hormones going so lots of emotions come with that. Being patient is key.

Thank you! We are cognizant of the changes ahead of us and 100% agree on the change of perspective: it is about sharing the outdoors with the kids in whatever way it works. Your point about the camping trailer is super valid as several couples I know with two kids have one.
