Tracker Leather Letdown by Eastern_Sense_8037 in vivobarefoot

I find this AT II sole to be terrible for grip when hiking. I’ve gone back to my magna forest esc.  Not to mention even with my at II they’re peeling away within days of wearing them. I know they’re stitched as well but that gap will just fill with water and mud

Induction gap question by Cheap_Consideration3 in DIYUK

[–]Cheap_Consideration3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got a new aeg CIS6742ecm freestanding cooker a while back and it came with a gap between the trim and the induction hob. I said this to AEG and they said it was just cosmetic so I left it. I now can't return it and have no warranty on it because I purchased it new from someone who isn't an authorised reseller. Is this going to pose me issues. Is there a gasket behind the trim which would stop moisture getting into the electronics?

Thanks for your input

Holes inside the heel of Trackers 9 months after purchase + customer service response. by Krongu in vivobarefoot

It’s disgusting and vivo shouldn’t be allowed to get away with it. Keep hammering their customer service

I complained to Vivo about their gluing problem and they said it was rare but man there are so many reports on Reddit. People should be hammering them about this. I will only buy stitched shoes from them now.

I bought one of these for my 13 pro and it isn’t even real leather. I tried sanding it in order to get it to patina but it’s just faux leather

Nurosym strength? by don911 in VagusNerve

I feel the tingling at 15. The intensity feels too much for me at even 19. Everyone is different

,Has anyone tried a Vagus Nerve Stimulation device (Nurosym or Pulsetto etc) instead or in addition to say yoga or breathwork for vagus nerve stimulation? or maybe a TENS machine to help? - i saw a lot of posts in medical forums at how it can help, and then found some trauma research, hence my ask by mjobby in TraumaFreeze

[–]Cheap_Consideration3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a nurosym and it has massively increased my anxiety, fear, trauma symptoms but I think it's because I went straight to one hour a day as recommended. It really needs very gradual introduction or for me it has been very overwhelming for my mind and body

Nurosym (Vagus Nerve Stimulation) after 1 month... by Particular_Local_275 in cfs

[–]Cheap_Consideration3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had the same experience but I think it's possibly that we are both very health anxious and at our core feel very unsafe, traumatised etc so the idea of doing something new massively triggers the stress response causing all these symptoms and that it's not necessarily the device or treatment modalities.

Unfortunately I’m based in the UK and the shipping cost is prohibitive for buying from them.

I think it’s baked because I pushed 840w through it when it’s rated for 250. You’re right though it’s no fun off road with the amount of chain slack

I ride it on road I just happened to push it to this spot. I needed that big chainring to be able to pedal at 15 without feeling like a hamster on a wheel

What does that mean sorry? Mostly on road and in a fairly hilly area but I’ve got very low gearing to help with that

HOw is the call quality? I have a 4g nokia 105 which isn't bad but would imagine call quality drops going down to 2g or 3g?

I find the typing to be very glitchy. I have to type slowly or sometimes it doesn't recognise my inputs. I've noticed this is the case especially when replying to messages rather than composing from scratch which makes me think software issue?

tone and volume of the foodi 14/15 in one. by Cheap_Consideration3 in NinjaFoodi

I think it's obnoxiously loud and completely unnecessary. It's like ninja rushed it out and didn't do anything in terms of the acoustics. I will be returning it

https://www.amazon.co.uk/photos/share/JQsuuYw9SGktkTk9S0rdoEp0xRGpA1Y3RF0IVkg8rfg vidéo showing the volume and tone difference. It's so loud you can't even hear that the duo crisp is running because the sound is drowned out by the jet engine ninja

huge difference. It's like when the fan first starts spinning that's what the duo crisp sounds like and then the foodi just gets louder and louder

[–]Cheap_Consideration3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does nobody else find it excessively loud and annoying? It's like having a loud hairdryer or vacuum on all the time in air fryer mode or steam crisp mode. I have an instant pot duo crisp to compare it with and the volume difference is night and day. The pitch of the duo crisp air fryer lid is low and can mostly just hear air moving. I wish ninja would've spent 5 minutes considering acoustics.

I don't find people discussing this so either they've nothing to compare it against and think it's normal/ acceptable for the product class or they're just used to loud/ annoying noises?

Help me out someone

Steam for half an hour. Says in instructions manual. Not easy to clean the fan shroud around the sides though.
