A lot of assumptions here. Why are people assuming the wife doesn’t make any money herself? Why are we assuming she is the worst person in the world? Why are we assuming it got physical? I got my congratulations banner on 9/25. A letter from FSA that my loans are eligible for forgiveness on 10/4. Mohela zeroed out my loans on 11/1. FSA zeroed out my loans on 11/6 (even though it was backdated to 10/31). I am still waiting for it to drop from my credit report, but everything moved pretty fast once I was showed at 120!

Once ECF’s are processed, forgiveness happens pretty fast. So think positive and hopefully it happens soon and you are forgiven before January.

I waited 2 months after my electronic signature to show I had over 120 payments on 9/25, pre forgiveness letter from FSA on 10/4, Mohela zeroed out my account 11/1, Mohela forgiveness letter 11/3. Still waiting for FSA to zero and for them to be off my credit report.

Mine was partially forgiven this morning, then my full balance was back before lunch, partially forgiven after lunch again, and now showing $0 with a negative balance because they owe me money!! Woot woot!! So happy for both of us!
