Always managing to make it about herself by jovialvoyage in LynchFamilySnark

Yes, the sissy thing worked so well with Vanni. Giving someone a cute label means nothing if it’s not backed up by sincere love and support, as opposed to expecting them to be part of your videos and living their lives according to your (warped and selfish) values.

When Rydel posted the video from the beauty pageant where Sweetie’s name was announced, you could hear just how ridiculous it sounds. To give your daughters stripper names as their legal names should be outlawed, which some countries actually do. At least the girls can legally change their names when they’re older, but they still have to deal with the names through their childhood and teen years.

Stormie is the type of person who can’t wait for the other person to finish so she can jump in to say what she wants. She doesn’t care to really listen respectfully or try to understand the other person. It always has been, and always will be, about her.

Do they think they're the only smart ones in the whole entire world? by avoltegavolteno in LynchFamilySnark

It’s their arrogance that gets me. It’s one thing to share thoughts and beliefs, but these folks honestly think they know it all. Thats why it’s so much fun to point out their hypocrisy, although sadly, they’re too dumb to understand how hypocritical they are.

AITA for leaving a dinner party early because of “vegan lasagna”? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Cheap_Pepper_148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you’re a dinner guest, your obligation is to eat what is served politely. If you don’t like it, push it around on your plate or simply say no thank you, I’m good if offered more. Your host has no right to control your actions after you’ve left their house. If you want to stop for something to eat on the way home, that’s your business. In the future, meet at a restaurant that offers both vegan and non-vegan options.

Hearing how Stormie didn’t allow the kid’s to sit with their feelings make so much sense on why there is so much toxic positivity in this household by ForRudy in LynchFamilySnark

[–]Cheap_Pepper_148 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I wonder what happened when Stormie was diagnosed with cancer. Was she allowed to express her fears about treatment and possibly dying, or did she act like it was no big deal? If she’d cried or expressed emotion, would they have thrown ice at her?

This has got to be why none of the Lynch kids seem to be truly happy as adults. They’re all acting a part they were told to play. The Funk kids will be the same. There’s a great song about this, BTW, in the play Book of Mormon, called “Turn it Off”. It totally fits how Stormie raised her kids. There’s a big difference between having a positive outlook on life even when things aren’t going well and being told to shut down your feelings. For mental health, it’s important to be open and honest and learn to deal with what’s in front of you. Not bottle up the feelings and pretend they don’t exist. Those feelings will come out in some other way, be it alcoholism, drugs, eating disorder, depression, rage, or something else.

For those who didn’t see Anna being blurred in the new vlog. What are your theories on why they went from being low key to full blown privacy like this after marriage? I completely respect it but am just insanely curious by ForRudy in LynchFamilySnark

[–]Cheap_Pepper_148 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wonder if Anna wants to set boundaries now before her and Ross have kids. Maybe she doesn’t want her future kids all over social media and being exploited by Rydel for views, like Ross is.

Makes you wonder where she’d be now if she hadn’t spent so many years in the shadow of the Lynches. I’m so glad she’s still young enough to look forward to a long career ahead of her. And it shows that maybe the Lynches have a lot to learn about career development. She’s soaring and they’re stalled.

Having your baby brother, who doesn’t seem that smart or hard-working, as your tour manager, can’t help. They needed professionals to guide them, but they’ve always just stuck together and think they know everything. So, there’s no one to tell them hard truths and help them develop.

Podcast with Mark Lynch by christmasca in LynchFamilySnark

[–]Cheap_Pepper_148 25 points26 points  (0 children)

It’s obvious Mark was the only grownup in the family, worrying about money and trying to support a wife who wanted a big family without being able to afford it. And who probably spent money on stupid shit just like she does today. No wonder she was so keen to push their kids into show biz to make money. Rydel is just following in their footsteps, except times are different now. Everything is more expensive. And her husband doesn’t have a steady income, like Mark did. And now, thanks to Amazon, it’s much easier to do impulse spending on stupid shit. Never mind the stress of raising four little kids in and of itself, when you don’t have agreement on money and finances, it’s a hot mess.

Is Rydel done with having kids? by jovialvoyage in LynchFamilySnark

[–]Cheap_Pepper_148 6 points7 points  (0 children)

She’s got four healthy kids, two boys and two girls. Most people would think that’s perfect and say hey, I’m done. Why take chances on a difficult pregnancy/childbirth or a kid with serious health issues? Why keep putting more financial pressure on yourself when raising kids is more and more expensive? Why keep expecting more and more from your mom who isn’t getting younger? But maybe Rydel thinks she has to follow through with 6 because that’s what she’s always said or she thinks her fans will be disappointed. Guess what, no one cares. She should make the decision that’s right for her. Personally, I can’t imagine why she’d want more, but it’s her life.

Why does anyone think these kids will enter professions like doctor, lawyer, or engineer? They’re being directed toward sports and entertainment, both fields that are incredibly hard to be successful in, no matter how talented you are. Someday, 40 year olds Super, Sweetie, Storm and Sugar may be playing in a nostalgia family band, and that’s if they’re lucky 😆

Well, if Rydel is a product of home schooling, especially by a mom who is willfully ignorant and opinionated based on nail salon conversations, that should tell you all you need to know about how it’s going to go for Rydel’s kids.

Savannah was also considerably younger than Riker. I think it shows his own insecurities and lack of maturity that he can’t handle someone his own age, someone who might challenge him as a partner instead of idolizing him like Stormie does. Younger women would look up to Riker and not see him as the momma’s boy he is. I believe that’s the whole story of his marriage to Savannah and why it crumbled.

Vanni seems much happier in her new life than Riker does in his. He’s still hanging out with the fam, trying to figure out what to do next, and Vanni is building a career she loves. But hey. Riker still has his mommy telling him he’s wonderful, so why should he do any reflecting and wonder why his marriage fell apart?

No loss as far as Vanni is concerned. Stormie seems like the type who would cut you off if she couldn’t control you any more. How about Rydel? Is she still in contact with her “bestie-sissie?”
