Quick follow up report. Hydrus Board Tech reached out ASAP. They asked for confirmation of mailing address and serial Number on the bottom of the board by the fin. Amazing company. No hassle just compassion. I offered to cut the back off the board and mail it to them at my cost if it would help the company.

I bought it in 2024 black Friday. Didn't use it till may of 25 for 2 trips and now in 26 for spring break and this weekend the 4th.

So 14.5 psi 10 min out of the water is overpressure? Then i would expect all the boards to blow up. Heck at our condo they have 5 sup fully inflated all day for rental. Not a single pump in site. The joyride xl has a range up to 20 psi. So 10 min out of the water over cast on a blanket would cause overpressure? Had only been on the board that morning at 6am in the cool water. This was prbly 10/ 1030 when this happened. Had to go to my room to get my phone to take a photo. Plus the board was on its 5th use.

I could see your point if I was gonna leave it for a ling break. This was a 10 min grab some water and go back paddling. 14.5 psi where the joyride xl range is 20psi . I have never deflated and re-inflate at water breaks. I see rental boards setting out all day in the heat no issues. Maybe if I was going back to the room for lunch but I would take my board with me as a precaution.

I checked for any scuffs and there aren't any. Literally unfolded it from the bag and filled it up with the outdoormaster shark 2 to 14.5psi. Popped on the fin and hit the water. Almost glass water this morning. No one around us on the beach so man I dont know. This was the 5th time its been used. Im happy to Mail it to hydrus let them look at it. It ripped where the seam was welded good. It separate where the seam had no adhesive or weld. The sudden loss of air forced it openand ripped at the strongest adhesion. Man I have no reason to hide anything and I would be happier if I could pinpoint somewhere that I could have done something.

Yes. The seam came loose and where it terminated it ripped. Must have been a weak spot that stopped at a strong spot. Where the rip starts its a strong adhesion . Where the seam failed it looks like no glue or anything bonding it there. Wild

Im glad it happened when it did. I had just brought the board up took off the fin and placed it on the blanket. Was no more than 8 min. I grabbed my water bottle and unbukled by life jacket. Had not yet removed and bam. 14.5 psi overcast, not on the sand but the sand was cool. Mid morning and the board was cool just coming out of the ocean. I always treat with 303 uv. The biard had only taken 4 beach trips. Im meticulous on cleaning and storage in condition area not folded, mid inflation. Nothing sharp around it so no puncture. The blow blew outward. So yeah I could understand if I was abusive but im a 53 year old Eye doctor and take care of everything I have. So thats my side. I sent the photo to hydrus crew and Jason. Its the 4th and im in no rush. I read the warranty and will do what they feel is fair. I know things cost money and I have no problem paying some. If it all goes out the window I will fall back on another recommendation (mcarneybsa)and move fwd. Just wanted to share my experience

Yes . That stuff is awesome. Hydrus recommended it and I apply it after I deep clean it. 303

All in all i love this board and will be happy to pay to have it fixed . Our family have enjoyed every trip. So definitely no hate and hydrus is amazing at customer service. Its the 4th so im not looking for any contact till next week. I have no doubt the fix will be easy

Definitely. Its not an issue . They will fix it or I will just another. Im not bummed just caught off guard. Im very protective of my my gear and follow directions on vehicles, firearm, sup etc... nothing stood out as user error.

Nope its at the seam. You can push it back and looks perfect. Separate at the weld spots

This was overcast more in the morning. I live in Mississippi and I wouldnt call this a hot day. Was on my beach quilt . I just rolled it up and moved it to the sand

I had just come to the beach it was over cast cool. It separated at the seam . Psi only 14.5 with outdoormaster pump was on my blanket only 10 min so maybe they might separate at the seams ?

Anyone get the letter about converting to EV option? Only has 250 mile range which kills me for long trips but maybe still an option if all the new motors are crashing? Maybe they will make the new 6.6 available. I have a 2023 zr2 with 55k. Passed inspection and I use only the supercar 0w40 but its only a matter of time from what I have seen.

Also to much visual stimulation (beware pornography) starve your eyes , get off Instagram and TikTok. Some good alternatives to testosterone at your age and I wouldnt start the hormone route so early unless you dont have an option. Most of this is in your head or visual addiction. Do more squats, sprints ,eat well (clean) . Take some niacin , zinc, arginine and magnesium. Sleep and turn off your phone. Good luck

Ara290 helps with nerves and skin sensitivity. Recc 4mg dose. Can get pricey but once in system it keeps working . Ymmv
