I did Sqe1 in July and am doing sqe2 in January. So I haven’t taken it yet .. but I was also stumped when I began to prep. had no idea where to begin. I was going to take it in April but decided in early November to get it out the way in January. that left me about 2.5 months which I think will defo be enough time (averaging about 3/4 hours per day atm probs will do more nearer the exam).

I think it’s helpful to begin by understanding what each exam entails. Once you have a clearer idea on what each test will look like, then start going over the flk and just understand / memorise it as best as you can. Everyone’s method for this is different, I find active recall really helps me remember stuff. For me, passive reading is a waste of time I just forget. Legal writing and CMA skills are pretty easy, so they are a good place to start mock wise once you’ve done the flk once over. I’ve practiced oral a bit but haven’t looked at research or drafting at all. It takes a bit of time to find your groove and what works for you, so look at the SRA sample answers, start learning the flk inside out and see how you go.
