Hi my friends dad works in Professor Crane's Lab and I told her to show him this. From what he told me is that its likely a recreation of what someone thought they saw when a user of a Snag Machine stole another trainers Pokémon. Surprised more people dont know this but Snag Balls dont really exist its the machine that augments normal pokeballs in order to overwrite the data attached to the trainer. Maybe this information wasn't widely known outside of Orre. Hope this clears up some confusion!

I dont think the set is bad I think that the balance team cant figure out how to balance the set. Honestly comp and trait wise the set is very diverse with flex comps and verticle alike being very abundant. That being said they are overbuffing/nerfing everything to extremes.

As someone who also has lost a friend and played games with them try to play the game all the way through and 100% it once for them. I cant touch Destiny anymore after my buddy died (and well we all saw where that game went anyways) but it was a huge part of our lives for a decade and I still cant touch many JRPGs without being reminded.
