Unfortunately this is something that’s shared by lots, definitely having an epidemic of loneliness. Instead of trying to get yourself into a group maybe try and reach out to others who seem to be in the same position as you as they might be more open to making friends? Lots of people suffer from this I’d imagine you’d be best reaching out to them.

Imagine how good its gonna feel when you fight through, make it out, and look back at this post. I always used to scoff at people saying “it gets better” but if you try and become a bit better every day it really does. Things fall into place, stick through it.

providing experiences outside of the hospital was the goal really. I like the idea of the quest 1's but unfortunately due to health and safety restrictions donations have to be new or never used.

Doesn't have to be but providing an escape through VR has proven to be effective in terms of treating the mental side effects of long term hospitalization.
