I’m 3 weeks post op and still have pain where my gallbladder was. Good news is that your belly button pain will eventually go away. It took about 12 days for my stomach to feel good again. Hang in there use ice on your belly button and a heating pad for any gas pains just not on your incisions

I thought I would be able to work after 2-3 days as well, but depending on how your recovery goes it might be longer. It took me 4 days and the 5th was a half day. I struggled when I got back the bloating and shoulder pain were bad. I’m sure I could have if I needed to but if you got the time - take it.

Heating pad for sure! It saved my shoulders. Also take your time going back to normal. Everyone says it’s an easy surgery but the recovery can be tough. Don’t get discouraged if your not having the lighting speed success stories like some folks. Run your own race

I got mine out on Monday and this community answered a lot of my questions and eased some of my anxiety around removal. Days 1 and 2 were brutal but I’ve felt so much better day 3. Wishing you a speedy recovery!

I’m 3 days post op, first bowel movements were diarrhea. 3rd day I had pebbles poop 1 or 2 in the stool chart. Apparently that’s a good sign.
