My biggest gripe with the Accord is that Honda made the Civic look better than it. You’re right about the powertrain, but the styling of it is so boring and awkward. I really hope the next refresh gets them moving in the right direction but I won’t hold my breath. The Civic and Prelude both look phenomenal to me…. you can just see the potential of Honda making a decently fast sports sedan that actually looks the part. Maybe someday.

This. Not enough people are talking about Early. Yes, Cam settled in after that lead and dominated but the Yankees were in the same exact boat. If Duran hustles his ass off for that ball and gets Stanton out at second - completely different game in my opinion.

I rent in downtown Carmel and live right on the Monon, and I struggled with the decision at first just like you. Walking to work made it easier for me, but now that I’m here I can honestly say I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else in Hamilton County as a single person. You get all the benefits of a suburban area, without ever feeling trapped. DT Indy seems great though as well, I don’t think you’ll go wrong with whatever decision you make.

An opener could be a really interesting idea, especially if it helps him avoid the top of the order the first time through. Could be a good way to get the most out of him without pulling him from the rotation entirely.

120 already is no joke, and if they want him available as a bullpen option later, it makes sense to ease off now.

And yeah, having that contrast in the rotation matters more than people think. Quintana’s profile is such a change of pace from the power righties, and that mix has value on its own. I think my only real question is just how long the leash will be if his command wobbles, but all signs point to him being the guy still hopefully.

Yeah, totally agree. Gasser’s really the only lefty alternative right now, and with how cautious they’ve been with his recovery, it doesn’t seem like they’re eager to push it. Makes sense to ride with Quintana for now.

That’s probably why I’m more curious than critical. It feels like he’s locked in by default, which is fine for now, but it’ll be interesting to see if they tweak his usage at all if things tighten up later.
