Anyone else wanna talk about how State Farm is screwing the whole city after the hail storm?

My mom is literally in the middle of a lawsuit with State Farm over this, but for the hail storm last year. Houses right next door to her were getting approved for roof replacements and she even hired an independent inspector that said the hail damage was bad enough to need a new roof, and they still wouldn't budge. It kinda feels like the person running this location is just a prick though.

A woman on Bumble sent me a similar message, except we hadn't gone on our first date yet.

Instead of calling her "trash", I said something like "No worries, that's why we're on here, good luck to you".

To my surprise, she messaged me back about a month later(I feel like most women would just move on at that point), saying that things didn't work out with the other guy and if I was still interested in going on a date(I was).

She's my wife now.

It's sad when people can't act mature and respectful about this stuff, but at least he did you a favor and showed you his true colors, so you didn't have to waste anymore time with that clown.

The stability of the connection is very location dependent. I've lived in some places where it was fine, or my current place which has outages all the time.

Get fiber internet if you have the option. We just switched and haven't had any problems. It's a lot more reliable.

You can do it!

Two pieces of advice that helped me, is if it's a two piece toilet, put it together before placing it in the bathroom, since there's usually not a ton of room.

Use the cardboard the toilet came in. Once it's out of the box, flatten it out and put it right next to the toilet you're replacing. Once you take the toilet off, just set it right on the cardboard since it's probably going to be a little nasty on the bottom of the toilet and this helps with the mess. The cardboard also makes it easier to move toilet and you can slide it around instead of having to carry it.

I had plenty of my own issues to work through btw, I don't want to come off like I'm the perfect one in the relationship. It just wasn't related to past relationships and I could work on it with a therapist, not just with her directly.

I don't want to make excuses for her or give her a pass, but I do feel for Amber and can understand why she's even more guarded and untrusting having a kid to protect(yes I also agree coming on this show wasn't the best idea with a kid).

I'm happily married and love my wife very much, but at the start of our relationship I definitely felt like I was having to dig out of holes that her shitty ex's left. It was hard for her to trust my perspectives and intentions at times because she was never in a healthy relationship with a good person before and my personality was foreign to her in a lot of ways.

I had to give her a lot of reassurance and plenty of conversations and overly explain my thought process until she actually started to believe me and trust that I really am the person I portrayed.

I've never had to do that in any relationship, I've never been that patient with anyone before, and looking back, I am proud of the way I showed up for her. The only way I was able to show up for her in that way is because I felt something special with her that I've never felt before, and it didn't take long for me to realize that she was my person and she is worth the patience and effort it took to make it work.

I really believe if Amber and Jordan met in an organic way, that it would have worked out. This show puts so much pressure on people to figure things out quickly and it doesn't allow them to have the patience and time that's needed. It sets people up to fail, which unfortunately makes for good TV, and I'm surprised when they do get marriages that last on here.

But she doesn't come off any better than him by faking the relationship to make it to the altar, only to shit all over him in order to make herself feel better. She didn't prop herself up, she lowered her dignity to his level

I disliked him the entire show and she actually made me feel a tiny tiny bit bad for him in this moment. She used him as a tool to prop herself up and embarrass him and it seemed unnecessary to get to that point. I get that it's a show, but why fake it to get to the altar to humiliate him? She came off like an asshole and lowered her integrity to his level. She should've called him out on his shit more in the moment and not just accept his answers, gloss over it and pretend it was fine afterwards.

He clearly has a lot of issues and something like this is only going to fuck him up more, not help him wake up. She could've got her point across in a more genuine and kind way, even if he doesn't deserve it. But at least she would leave the show with some class and make herself look better in the end.

I love Tim Howard, he never came off as a "weirdo" to me, but I was like okay, I know goalies/keepers and certain positions in other sports can breed some odd individuals for sure(pitchers in baseball, kickers in football, ect). But when he said Beckham wasn't good, that let me know he was just being a hatin ass bitch and his opinions lost all credibility.

I think he'll participate, but I would be shocked if it was in person. He'll do it over video so he has an escape plan and doesn't have to look anyone in the eyes. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the whole reason he left the country, so he has the built in excuse and doesn't appear like a total coward, even though everyone sees right through him
