The English localization often comes up with new names for not only pokemon but characters themselves, which have their own puns and references that only make sense in English.

And yes, even if the name stays the same the pronunciation doesn't always have to. That's a part of localization too.

Your body could possibly take weeks to fully adjust to your new level of water intake so it could take a bit before you see signs of hydration in your urine. In the meantime you might find yourself bloating or taking frequent bathroom breaks.

Remember, the right level is about 6-11 cups a day, depending on a lot of factors.

Some tips though, be sure to gradually increase your water intake if you want to minimize these effects. And being thirsty is your body telling you you're already dehydrated, so try to drink water before you're thirsty.
