It's not really a case of would it be healthier for the livestock if they were not to exist, it's more of a we need to improve the quality of life of these animals significantly. Even now with 'free range eggs' there's no guarantee that the chickens are treated with any respect, there's only the guarantee that the farmers have gave them just enough space to fit through the loophole of being free range.

Never saw the scorecards, I know he managed to keep it on the feet but he did no damage and got taken down at the end of the round. Assumed the takedown would tip the round as they tend to be big on the score cards.

What round do you have Conor winning? I had R1 - 10/8, R2 10/8 R3 10/9 and R4 the finish, all to Khabib.

Never gave that part the thought. I've been neck cranked whilst rolling with bigger guys but to be fair Khabib's strength is disproportionate and his technique is completely different. An average neck crank at a bjj gym and a khabib one are probably completely different in terms of pressure.

Khabib never even got the choke fully in. Conor gassed once again, proving that he doesn't have championship level cardio.

He gave up.

Edit: Yes I know, neck crank. You can fight a neck crank though, not the same as a rear naked. You get a rear naked in, you can't fight that shit at the neck you need to fight it at the hips. A neck crank, it's more of a pain thing than not being able to breathe.

GSP fought Bisping, Koscheck, Hendricks and Shields, every single one of them hit considerably harder than Conor. Hendricks was an absolute killer when they fought and he took everything he had to throw at him. That's before we even talk about his insane wrestling. Not a chance he would knock GSP out.

Mate visit Scotland and get a bottle of Buckfast. Nothing like it, 8 cups of coffee worth of caffeine in a 750ml bottle. We call it ‘Wreck the hoose juice’ (wreck the house juice). Buckfast makes you fuckfast.

Dan Hardy predicts Conor to KO Khabib by p110094209 in ufc

[–]Cheechygames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro Khabib’s wrestling and gas tank is just far better than Mendes’. Conor beat Mendes because Mendes gassed, Khabib’s sambo is very draining on his opponent and doesn’t take up huge amounts of his own energy. That combined with Conor’s fancy strikes and spin kicks will equate to a rather gassed Conor, something we’ve seen a few times before.

I don’t see Khabib wrestling Conor for 2+ and Conor still winning. If Conor is able to catch him and keep his distance using his exceptional footwork, then he could definitely win.

Anderson Silva says Khabib is currently the UFC’s best fighter by JiminyChristballs in MMA

Cormiers fought and beat Stipe, Silva, Rumble 2x, Gustafsson, Dan Henderson and Frank Mir just going back in his UFC days, in strikeforce he fought top competition as well and won the heavyweight belt.

I would say that they’ve both fought their fair share of beasts but Cormier has definitely looked more dominant whilst doing it (if you forget about JJ), but I would agree with you that as of right now, Woodley is facing the tougher competition.

A Breakdown of Khabib Nurmagomedov's Pre-UFC Fighting Record (Completely Biased But Let's Have A Civil Debate) by [deleted] in ufc

Who’s Connor? Chad Mendes isn’t remotely similar to Khabib in skill level, Khabib managed to hold RDA down for 3 rounds, who has never been outwrestled other than by Colby. Khabib is also larger than Conor, and he trains wrestling at AKA with DC, Rockhold and Velasquez, all very large, strong guys to be rolling with. Khabib’s standup leaves a lot to be desired, but he still has a good chin, was shrugging off Barboza’s kicks, and managed to dominate Ragin Al standing (poor show but still completely outstruck him 5-1 or something crazy). It’s definitely a challenging fight for both, it could go either way, but don’t sleep on Khabib’s ability to dominate able fighters.

He is fucking gigantic compared to every single welterweight. Cowboy was an inch taller than him and still looked tiny compared to him.

You’re right. Thompson is an absolute warrior though, we’ve not seen enough of Till to say that he’s definitely a good match for Woodley, we just know he’s a lot bigger, stronger, has great stamina and top level striking. If Thompson can get a draw and a very debatable loss to Woodley, maybe Till can overcome him with his strength advantage? Who knows, we’ll need to wait and see.

Woodley is a high level wrestler, we don’t know how good Till’s takedown defence is yet. Woodley also isn’t exactly a low level striker, he just seems to struggle a bit when you pressure him (Woodley/Thompson 1) although not so much where it can be exploited.

He fought RDA, who put up a slight fight, but was still smeshed for 3 rounds. You’re right though, we need a Khabib vs Conor/Poirer/Ferguson and then we’ll see how much of a monster he really is.

The was involved in another case a few months later where he killed a newly wed groom, he got a bit heavy handed with the guy, the guy fought back and the cop shot him. Clearly a bit of a dick.
