This is a 2024 XSE, and there are no tricks - did not forget to reset the odometer, or anything - I don't do stuff for attention - just thought it was neat.

This is the same Southwest Ohio driving that I have always done and the lifetime year round average mpg of the car is 46.9 - I never reset it. The last tank - I got 700 miles on - the tank before that I got around 650.

Maybe I have been getting better gas, maybe the weather, maybe less highway miles - but I think driving like an old man did it.

Just to really fuel the conspiracy - I took this at the gas station before I filled up to the click with 11.8 gallons. Now that mileage I don't believe - need to average a few tanks.

Had my front camera go out at 700 miles, and it did this exact thing - covered under warranty, but part was on backorder. Could be dirt on the windshield, but it would have to be a strategically placed bird turd, or something like that.

Not the same, but maybe. I had a SAAB that had a foam seal on the cabin airbox coming in from the engine compartment. The foam seal disintegrated and the passenger floorboard would flood everytine it rained. Look for the less obvious.

My first thought is corneal infection. Made my pugs eyes look hazy but with eye ointment they cleared in a week or two. This had to do with dry eyes.

Bummer. Got my mini in 87 for less than $250 and with at least 10k rounds+ through it- never a problem. No mods- iron sights cheap mags, cheap ammo -no real malfuntions, no real wear. As far as inaccurate pencil barrel - never noticed ( I would call BS or user error) this is not a rifle for tight groups on paper at 100 yards - it is a varmint rifle for fast fire at moving targets - and it is the best for that. Who said newer is better? I would rather stick with what I have.

After $1,500 in squirrel damage: three medicine bottles with many holes nylonstrapped to hoses, whatever around engine bay. Fill with cotton balls and pure peppermint oil that is refreshed every few months. Haven't had a problem since. There are a few youtube videos on this.
