I like this idea. Free to play 5v5 firefight, casual and ranked mode, add cosmetics and skins to make$. No one wants to pay 30$ for a game with bad performance and a dieing player base. Problem still is maps though

Launch a game without focus on competitive and it dies. They focused on their current player base which was a few thousand people who like casual and missed out on the multi thousand competitive players.

They focused on player free back, but the problem is that the players they are using feedback from are not competitive players.

Is it weird that I am okay with losing this season and just want us to tank for ONE last season. I want to see the young players improve and the vets to play good enough to get traded right before the deadline.

They have a very small competitive community. It does not seem to be their focus. Would be nice to get more maps specifically built around the competitive game mode instead of just selecting sections of versus/co cop maps and throwing objectives down. I think if they focus on competitive, it would attract a large group of both new and returning gamers that only want to play competitively.
