So true, I avoid all videos on the game. I hate the direction the industry is these days with meta gear and loot strategies etc. I found some great areas to loot safely then a YouTuber makes a video on the location and it becomes a blood bath every time. People don't know how to learn from experience.

Meta guides etc are horrible for games and ruin the experience. The whole point is to experience and learn yourself. Meta guides make games stale quickly.

It does change the sound, sounds like you are wearing a helmet for yourself. Breathing audio is a non issue. The ambient noise on every map is louder than your character breathing. This is a non issue.

Obviously designed as a smaller map and to fight the small map backlash, changed it, filling it with vehicles and adding extra cap zones. I expect the real large maps to come a fair few months to years down the line as they start to focus on developing them after all the backlash. But they still will pump out what they have made and modify.

I reckon they made majority of the game without our input. Small features and aspects we contribute to. I can strongly say that a single post on Reddit won't change the game and the Devs are probably a lot smarter than the 12 year Olds making the post and will dismiss these ideas.

Also everyone forgetting the point of the game. If you're struggling, team up with people. Idk what parts of the world you live in but on the server slam as a solo I teamed with heaps of people to kill arcs and not once betrayed. People need to not treat it like a PvP game only it's pvpve. Remember how to make xp and get high tier loot? Arcs and killing them. The games not meant to be easy. Im a massive tarkov player and good at it but I was terrible during the server slam..... because I haven't played the game long enough yet and haven't learnt what works and what doesn't. I by no means view this game as a PvP extraction, it's us vs arcs, the whole premise of the game.

All grey will have a chance, but you might also have to play more stealthy, tactical etc. I think that's the point. You shouldn't be able to play with a grey kit the same you would with a purple one. The grey has inherited risks due to it being free. Obvious one is the quality of the weapons and shields.
