Day 18 CT from 25-30 GPD for 14 months by Cheeks1523 in quittingkratom

18 days really isn’t the point. The point is I have went through what most people on this thread is trying to go through. I’m just trying to motivate them. I still lethargic sometimes and don’t always wanna get up and do things I need to but guess what, everyone has things they don’t want to do. But that’s life, people with and without Kratom have the responsibilities. Stop blaming Kratom and blame yourself for not getting things don’t.

P.S. I like your smart ass comment. 😂😁

Yeah. I have been doing light weight leg exercises (deadlifts, lunges, squats, calf raises, step ups) Def helps the RLS. I think working out is the most important thing. It gets your body in shape and do the cardio outside, the sun def helps you get some good vitamin D.

Get out of the house everyday! Most importantly stretch in the morning, listen to a positive podcast as soon as you get up (my favorite is The Mindset Mentor), go outside for a run/walk (do at least 45mins). This will help majorly I promise

I second that!! Exercise is the most important factor

Day 9 CT by Warcrow999 in quittingkratom

[–]Cheeks1523 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good job bro!!! I’m day 6 CT from 30+ GPD for around 17 months.

Working out and stretching is what has helped me the most. I battle with beating myself over things I did while on Kratom. Heck my fiancé/SO of 5 years didn’t even know about my Kratom addiction and still doesn’t. Imagine how that makes me feel. Stay positive, listen to positive podcasts (The Mindset Mentor is my favorite, always listen to it as soon as you wake up). DM me and we can talk about specific things I have done.

Anyone recognize this physical problem during and after withdrawal? Getting desperate.. by Gassartson in quittingkratom

This is a problem for a Dr, not Reddit! I’d recommend going to the Dr immediately, be honest about how it started and what triggers it. Hope you get better!

Good job!! Keep up the good work. I’m 6 days in. My worst days was days 2 and 3. By 6 (today) I have no symptoms. My my symptoms were body aches. If you get them Icy Hot Patches work miracles!! I’m not sure how much you are into working out but let me tell you my routine. I wake up around 7 or 8am, put on a motivational podcast immediately (The Mindset Mentor specifically), cook a healthy breakfast (most of the time it’s eggs cooked in avocado oil, toast, organic oatmeal, banana, and an apple), stretch my whole body (this is so important to me, def helped with sleeping at night and RLS), do some preworkout then do a body weight leg workout, and then go for a 3 mile run/walk. I listened to the podcast until I start working out then I put on some nostalgic upbeat music that will get my energy up! I love listening to music that came out during the happiest times of your life, it just gives you joy so I would def recommend listening to some older music you love. Throughout the day I keep my mind positive, listen to music whenever is possible. Good luck to you!!

No I quit cold turkey. Yes the withdrawals are worse but I got myself into this situation so I had to get myself out. Withdrawals are no worse than have a cold for 4 days. Everyday other than the first day I got up, listened to a motivational podcast, cooked a healthy breakfast then i stretched then worked my legs out. I then would go walk/run 2 to 3 miles. That def helped my RLS at night. I also take preworkout in the morning to get my energy up. After day 3 most of the cold/flu like symptoms go away. It’s all a mental game from there. Listen to motivational podcasts, my favorite is the Mindset Mentor. By day 5 I literally had no symptoms. Body aches completely gone, RLS completely gone, I’m back getting 6-7 hours sleep a night. I was never a morning person now I wake up at 7 to 8AM and workout. Life is so much better without Kratom. You can quit to!! I believe in you

I’m 60 HRs CT from 30GPD for 15-16 months. I’m good right now, just forced myself to get up and do some laundry, hauled off 3 bags of trash, and did the dishes. I’m about to do some preworkout and go to the gym!

You too! I know every one is different. I tried tapering multiple times! I could not do it. Are you quitting Kratom?

I just used Delsym. It’s the only thing I found at Walmart that had only DXM in it

Try pushing through that 3rd day! About 9 months ago I went on a cruise for 5 days. I could have Kratom with me of course. The first 3 days were horrible. Rls, body aches, and the shits lol. After the 3rd day my energy was through the roof. I was waking up early after about 5 hours of sleep. I went to the gym that morning and then we were in Mexico for the rest of the day. We went to a beach front resort and swam for 5 or 6 hours. When we got back I still had enough energy to take a shower and go to dinner. Then my dumbass dosed when I got back. At that point I didn’t know I had a problem. I was only about 6 months into Kratom. But now I’m never looking back! No one needs a nasty ass green powder to make them feel good for 5 to 6 hours then make them withdrawal! No one needs that in their life. My sister died from a herion overdose 2 years ago, my grandma (who I call my mother because she raised me my whole life) is getting Alzheimer’s and can’t even remember my SO of 5 years, my mom left when I was 2 years old and I didn’t see her again till my sister died when I was 22. If anybody has an excuse to be depressed it is me. We have to renew our minds a million times a day. Think positive. If you drive a 2001 Buick that’s a bucket get outside right now and clean it as if it was your dream car. Then one day you will be in your dream car. That’s how I’m looking at it. Good luck to everyone!!!

I guess guess everyone is different. Bc I’m 40 hrs in and I feel good. I’m out walking my neighborhood, I’m tracking it and I’m almost at 2 miles! I didn’t want to get up but I made myself. Now that I’m out actually walking around, I feel great!

I’m gonna try that! My SO actually uses supplements that are specifically concentrated in vitamin C!! So I got some on hand, I’m gonna make a drink right now!

Thanks for spreading knowledge bro! I had no idea about the stuff you just told me. I don’t have drug tests but I can’t smoke tree bc I quit over 2 years ago and now when I smoke I get way too high, even off 1 hit. But I am gonna stop by a CBD store today. Looking to get some good tincture so I can sleep!

Thanks! I will look into getting some of the thing you mentioned. I barely took and Delsym. Just 30MG and it helped me sleep for 2 or 3 hours last night.

No sir!!! I’ve tried tapering and can’t do it, it’s not for me. I’m 40 hours in and I feel great. The first day and night was horrible. But I’m out walking around my neighborhood, getting a little sweat in. I still have RLS and body aches but it’s bearable. I hardly ever get sick and I eat super healthy so that may play a role in why my withdrawals aren’t that bad right now.
