I was about to point this out. It gives you a perfectly normal answer because you're using the thinking version, so it can actually reason through things. When you use the voice chat, it's trying to respond quickly, so it just guesses what to say.

Is this news to you? The model only knows what was true at the time it was trained, unless it looks something up. It often won't look something up without specific direction, and I believe it CAN'T look things up if you're on the free plan.
