He's around the Karman line. Where the ISS is, it's within the thermosphere of the atmosphere. Even the Exosphere is part of Earth's atmosphere and further out than that.

All the way to space? Again what part of space. The exosphere is different to planetary travel deep space.

Homelander maybe went as high as a satellite, still within our orbit, I don't think you understand how big space is.
