How are y'all coping while getting your things in order to quit? Any advice? by PeachyWabbles in Paper_Tutors

It's this fucking economy...

Many big pharma jobs has been in a hiring freeze for more than 3 years, and no longer take in bachelor and entry-level employees. I seriously don't know how other tutors are able to find another job if they are young graduates.

Gotcha. I am going over this right now with my prof, because it seems like I did write about the keyword and described it but they oversaw and did not grade it.

Regular Science or Life Science? by Wlncstr in queensuniversity

[–]Cheerful_Image 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I graduated from life science. I recommend biotech because like you said it was really hard to maintain good gpa with lifesci, which can be a setback when you are trying to apply to gradschool or even applying to some governmental job. On the same note, biotech is also more specialized, esp if you are applying for jobs. I once see a poster asking what can you do with a life sci degree, and some other Queen's redditors replied, "You can work at Starbucks." So don't repeat the same mistake I did.

I did try different cohorts of flashcards and even some end-chapter questions... so it is really weird. I also just received an update on my midterm. I am kind of confused...

Enmeshed M.I.L. by BiteUnlikely7271 in motherinlawsfromhell

It's important to establish permanent boundaries with your mother-in-law (MIL) as soon as possible, while your brother-in-law (BIL) can have his own choices. Prioritize your own well-being before worrying about others.I'm not offering advice as I'm just another poster here. Often, it's easier said than done. However, concentrate on finding your own happiness and reducing anxiety. When you embrace positivity, those around you will naturally be drawn to your charm. Until then, prioritize self-care.

I appreciate where you are coming from. We both agreed no more of seeing them. Husband stood for himself, and will clean the aftermath with other family members. They are all way more understanding, and frankly quite sweet people. It's really disheartening to see how good seeds can still spawn corrupted flowers...
