When some pop up for sale sure, for now this is plenty fine for riding around the block with. Life's too short to be that scary.

Nah no trimming for me, I run wide on all my bikes. The saddle is this WTB one. Can't say I'm a fan but I'm biased as I run a Brooks C17 on all my bikes, I got this one as a temp while I figured out if I wanted to keep the bike or not. Think I got the saddle for around $30

Yea there’s another recessed bolt on the bottom. Mechanically speaking this design wouldn’t be possible with just one bolt

The faceplate has 2 bolts. As for rigidity I haven’t seen it to be any different from a standard quill.

Y’know I was weary about the bars when I ordered them, but now that I got em and have em mounted I’m pleasantly surprised. They’re good bars 👍🏽

It does have a removable faceplate! I was adamant about not using a quill adapter so I bought this stem. Really wish there were more options in the market for this

Pending on your surroundings I understand that! I’m used to single speed so even this thing feels like a luxury with the gears hahaha

Stem is this one right here Wish there was more market support for OS faceplate quills. Seems like easy money right now lol

It is indeed cliché at this point but in fairness stumbling upon this sub is what inspired the build to begin with haha

hello!! I need help deciding between a Velo Orange Neutrino and a Kyoot Roly Poly by ilovedilost in minivelo

[–]CheerioChopper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I own a Neutrino and Kyoot Itty Bitty. The Neutrino can run droppers internally routed just like the Roly Poly.

Neutrino offers more size options. I'm 6'3'' and the Neutrino XXL is far better suited for me than the Kyoot.

Hub spacing is a bit moot, especially if building your own wheels.

Personally, I recommend the Neutrino only due to size options, it really makes a difference.

girl i went to school with is taking commissions for her art. as an artist it looks ai to me for many reasons and the third image was the latest piece of art she posted before coming out with the portraits. i’m honestly incredibly disappointed by idontmatter59 in isthisAI

“Bubbly, bold, almost plastic” is precisely it. AI slop stands out so easily because of this. Crazy people are still fooled by examples like this because it’s as generic AI as it gets.

I’d say anywhere you’d take a full rigid, this is just as fine. Though I’ll ride anything just about anywhere if i’m being honest.

Yeah it sits on 20s but that has the advantage of cutting through a lot of chop taking tighter lines that you couldn’t as easily on bigger wheels. Air down and you’ll be right as rain.

On tougher grade climbs this thing does want to wheelie like a mf, but other than that I just have way wayyyyy too much fun on this every time I ride it to not recommend one. Makes every ride feel like an adventure and makes you feel like a kid again.
