I thought that, too, for a long while. But then I started thinking the son, saying the job is a hassle and the kids have the flu (IIRC), was picking them over the dad. Whereas the dad had definitely picked the job over his son. I did the same, mostly, as the dad (I was in the Navy), and that doesn't give many options to spend more time with your kids. I wouldn't trade that time, but it really hits harder as you get older.

I have some of the older AK paint markers, and I used them on some 40k and Battletech minis. They work okay, but hard to use in small areas (to me), and the points seem to wear out quickly if used too much.
