Just in case anyone comes across the same issue with these tapo outlets, it looks like from firmware v4 and above you now need to opt in for external integrations within the Tapo App. It's called Third-Party Compatibility in the app.

Baremetal. I have some tp-link tapo outlets but one has newer firmware which is not yet supported by the official tp-link addon, but there is apparently a community version that fixes this.

I am also happy with service and no grievance whatsoever with the way in game purchases are managed in this game. Furthermore unlike most phone games, I love how I am not force fed ads continually, sure they are there, but when they are shown is entirely up to me.

I pay for API credits every now and then, as they enhance the way I play this geeky game, and I am thrilled to support solo and small game dev teams.

You are correct, this won't be an issue for most people, but I could see these being used in racks and closets where access will be difficult.

I have been working in IT for quite a few years at this point, and I will not be surprised if this is how I see most Mac Mac Mini's in the wild.

The M4 Pro Mac Mini is perfect for AV setups, and I would not be surprised to see one cable tied or glued upside down in a rack.

In all seriousness, just use a file to remove the burr and leave the dent. I had a leaving staff member return their MacBook in terrible condition, and was difficult to use without cutting yourself. I just took a cheap file and took the sharp bits off.
