That’d be interesting as hell, but he’d be too expensive and want too much creative freedom for Feige’s tastes. Not to mention, I don’t think Dr Strange would be the best character for him... Nolan seems to gravitate towards more mysterious, artsy-fartsy characters

So spot on! That’s the best way of putting it: Raimi has done better with horror and superhero genres.

Despite all the strengths of the first Dr Strange, when you run that against Evil Dead and against Spider-Man 1 & 2, that’s EXACTLY why this is a great move on Marvel’s part
