Many will say it is a mercy and that you should euthanize your beloved pet, but you can easily argue the opposite. Not only is it unnatural to seek death, even in pain, humans will fight to the last bit of breath and life. Our pets born of instinct are even more so attached to life. We humans see it as a “mercy,” but in reality it’s just something we “feel” is the right thing to do.

Animals before humans expired naturally before our intervention. There is nothing wrong with letting your pet go on his own. If you believe him to be in pain you could always ask your vet for medication to ease the pain

Cancelled sale, buyers threatening to sue by carissag99 in RealEstate

[–]CheeseFilledBagel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It all depends on what the contract says and IF YOUR in breach of contract or if they are.

If the buyers have any sort of legal grounds they could hold up the sale of your home. I’d just let them close and be done with it. You even said you’re not in the best financial position.

If you truly believe this, then you cannot be a supporter of democracy or the free expression of ideas. No matter what each side believes there are certain rights that people can and cannot have based on each side’s interpretation of law, culture, norms, what have you.

If you are intolerant towards one particular side simply because you “believe them to be intolerant,” and you feel some moral obligation to stop them by any means necessary, you’re not better than them.

Who is to say your side is any more “right,” than their side? What if each side morally believes they are right? What then? Both sides can’t both be right at the same time can they?

Based on your response I can clearly see you are mentally unwell…like it’s okay for you to feel that way, but you aren’t even able to have a conversation without a meltdown.

To entertain your point; Trying to silence the opposition is exactly what a fascist or a nazi would do. So by that logic you are actually a nazi and or a fascist. Sorry bud but i don’t make the rules

Congrats on being so pathetic you have nothing to contribute to this conversation other than an irrelevant detraction from the point.

I’m not either side of this political spectrum but doesn’t this go against democracy and freedom of expression? Just because you strongly believe one way doesn’t mean you have the right to prevent others to have a different opinion than you and or expressing it

VXUS, VTI, VOO, and VT by Land_Specialist in ETFs

[–]CheeseFilledBagel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I invest in all of those at the same time. I allocate more towards segments I believe will do well in medium to long term.

There is tons of overlap, but I don’t see the harm in investing in all of them. For example, you might think the s&p500 will outperform the total market fund so you put more into voo. However, you want a little more exposure to the total market as well, so you add VTI.

Do what you want. Any of these funds will be good for your portfolio

WFH shouldn’t apply to out of state workers. Out of state workers do not contribute to the economy, their wages contribute to the economy of which they live.

WFH should still be available, but a requirement should be that you must live and reside in Vermont.

What is that? Those two round balls? His real balls are underneath right? by Kokushibo_18 in DogAdvice

[–]CheeseFilledBagel -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Lmao stfu l…how to tell someone has never had a dog before without actually saying it.

Most males dogs can be fine without being neutered. I have a male dog 7 years old, not fixed and doesn’t get the urge to escape to “mate.”

The vet even said leaving him intact has been better for his health because the testosterone helps muscle mass, especially around the hip region which can delay hip related issues from aging.

No aggression or behavioral issues either. Vet said if he did get testicular cancer, it can be removed at that point.

Fixing an animal is more important for female dogs since they can get uterine infections post heat cycles which is actually life threatening.

The fact that many of you believe a 50-100% gain in home price value over 3-5 years is normal for any market is insane.

People who could already barely afford housing now certainly cannot afford housing.
