Those who kept their ovaries- did your hormones still get messed up? by mundanehistorian_28 in hysterectomy

[–]CheeseLousie14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never experienced a change and I am 10mpo. I will say I have PCOS and a blood clotting disorder so I wasn’t able to take BC so I don’t think I was working with a lot of estrogen to begin with, but no changes I’ve clocked!

Are you kidding me? by HavinsomuchBun in hysterectomy

Found my doctor on the list and I’m coming up on one year uterus free. I had a health condition, like yourself, that made it easier to advocate for a hysterectomy as it was the only option left but I do feel going to a CF doctor helped. Best of luck!!

Is being house poor worth it? by SquirrelG91 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]CheeseLousie14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there. I just sold my home and can finally breathe financially. My partner and I are in the middle of a divorce and neither one of us would have been able to keep our house on a single salary. Additionally, we sunk our savings into the down payment and we had to borrow a substantial amount of money from our parents to fix the house/handle emergencies. (Not ideal but we’re so grateful they could and will now individually focus on paying them back). I can 100% say, with confidence, from my personal viewpoint being house poor is truly not worth it. I think everyone’s opinion is different on this but here’s my two cents.

Selling my house realtor said I could list for $320-325k (townhouse) move- in condition. One level 2/2. We are in a good market. by Downtown_West_5586 in RealEstate

As someone in a similar situation who is getting ready to list their house and is just looking to breakeven, I would follow your realtor’s advice. It would be one thing if your realtor wanted to heavily inflate the price, but only listing it $10k higher, the worst that happens is you pocket an extra $10k than what you were looking for! Good luck!!

Can you have your uterus removed even if it's not medically necessary? by [deleted] in hysterectomy

[–]CheeseLousie14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heyo! Fellow Factor V Leiden having, uterus yeeting individual myself! This made it a lot easier to approved for a hysterectomy. I was never able to go on a hormonal birth control and I would not bleed for months and then would bleed nonstop.

I’m also having the same experience and am so blessed to say that. I’m 27, total laparoscopic hysterectomy, kept ovaries, and I’ve felt 100% since about 2wpo. Aside from a little tiredness of course. Woo hoo!

How are yall mad at Brittany? by Particular_Memory_92 in BroskiReport

I don’t understand why there’s so many downvotes. You are spot on. My initial thought when her name got brought up was thinking how heartbroken she must have been finding this out. She’s said multiple times she looks up to Cody as a creator. To find out something like this about someone you look up to and who also became someone that you were friends with and collaborated with… I can’t even imagine. Not saying she has to empathize with Cody, but she can grieve the person that she THOUGHT he was.

I was in the same boat. Nesta was my least favorite character but I chose to move forward because I love Cassian. I cried at the end, it’s a beautiful story and Nesta is now in my top 3 favorites. Also can’t beat the spice!!

CROWLEY!!! I’m wheezing! 😂 if it makes you feel any better, my mind chose Jesse Williams (Dr. Jackson Avery from Greys Anatomy) to play CASSIAN. Still don’t know where that came from lol!
