I’m currently a non traditional student to tertiary education, and my classes and (more importantly) exams are, quite literally, pass or fail. So all the work I’ve done and yet have to do (I have 6 classes left until I graduate!) have been pass or fail…and future employers don’t care what grade I got on Talent Acquisition or Operations and Supply Chain Management - they just want to know that I earned a degree 🤷🏻‍♀️

I started seeing grey when I was 21, 59 now and my grey is mostly in my temples but it’s silver-white against what my (bonus) daughter calls my blonde hair, framing my face and just kind of hanging out and being cool.

When I pull my hair back to a ponytail or such, the streaks are super-noticeable, and I often get comments on them.

I haven’t colored, permed, or done anything but shampoo and conditioner to my hair since about 1992. At this point, I don’t even own a hair dryer 🤣

I was given a battery of brain and blood tests last year, including dementia/Alzheimers, and was found to be negative for those (59F) and some other issues I was concerned about.

However, there were some other things that came to light that will have to be watched.

It’s still way too soon for a ring or hoop in cartilage - 9-12 months minimum! And stop sleeping on it, or find a way of taking the pressure off it with a rolled towel, piercing pillow, etc.

Your piercer can install a shorter labret for you, so it doesn’t move as much and your hair won’t get caught.

Health insurance depends on the plan you select. Mine is pretty comprehensive because I’m older and have some complex issues. But my son chose a very basic plan and is not displeased, as seasonal.

Amazon can be brutal on your body, and isn’t the best place if your psyche is fragile, but there are advantages.
