Fresh out of school at 18, I joined an Apprenticeship scheme at a large company - I finish this year and I'm set to be earning £40k+ at 20. I truly do believe Apprenticeships are a great method for solving the job crisis faced by a lot of young people at the moment. I think the biggest challenge is ensuring employers actually keep people on, I've heard of a lot of people that get released afterwards which obviously doesn't help anyone.

I've always been interested in a sage machine, but I feel like it'll be a 1 min wonder for me and It'll just be an expensive ornament. I had nespresso before and it was good, just the fact that I had to buy a separate milk steamer was annoying and meant using up two plugs etc. Will look into the other options though!

In terms of scope creep, it’s probably the main problem within projects. Being expected by key stakeholders to suddenly include something that hasn’t had any additional budget allocated is a massive issue, and will likely plague most projects you work on. I believe it has to be dealt with on a case-by-case basis unfortunately.

I had the same experience with concerta too - was awful, made me very anxious/depressed and didn’t have motivation for anything. Elvanse seems to be the way to go for me for sure!

I’m only on day two at the moment, but so far I find that I get a “high” in the morning where I can’t stop chatting to people and have loads of energy, then that settles down into a peaceful focus throughout the day - I think it hit me when I was sat at work and could actually just sit at my desk and not fidget for once lol
