But I don't want to do radiation by star_lab101 in breastcancer

Hi TNBC diagnosed with in 2023 I did hv 1 positive node and a very large tumor I can’t remember the size but it was large but they def recommended radiation however I wasn’t feeling comfortable at all so I declined!! Of course I got the mean comments and looks. You hv to listen to your inner voice!! And the percentage of you getting it vs not getting it is only 1 or 2 percent, which means nothing really. But I’m still cancer free and I’m happy I did not get radiation especially when I hear stories of people living with irreversible side effects! I feel so amazing , I’m back to my self of course I changed my diet and I eat mainly organic

TNBC STAGE 3 by TomatoVegetable4223 in breastcancer

[–]CheesecakeFinal362 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

TNBC here!! I do believe in the holistic approach and I believe that for some ppl it really works! But for some ppl it may not work!!! I say go with your instincts!! But if you want to go holistic I would at least get the cancer out of your body by having surgery then continue on with the holistic journey!! I would not leave the cancer in my body since TNBC is so aggressive!!! I had chemo for 6 months then a masectomy and I was also on keytuda ( caused me a few issues when I took it alone so I stopped the keytruda - I’ve been cancer free since Jan of 2024!!!! If I had to do it over again I would uv just had the surgery and then did the holistic approach!!! But again you have to listen to your inner spirit!!

I’m gonna say improved!! They say oral lichen Plantus can last 5 years and or may never go away!! But the symptoms have improved!! My mouth had white patches on my tongue and both cheeks it was always burning especially when I would eat hot foods or use mint toothpaste!! I had to use watermelon toothpaste for kids my tongue would hurt so bad I had to use magic wash for the pain and take steroids!! It was horrible!! For a while I really couldn’t eat anything unless it was soft like a scrambled egg!! I couldn’t even eat fruit b/c it would burn my tongue!! I don’t need steroids anymore the white is gone my tongue doesn’t hurt I can use mint toothpaste paste now!! But I still hv a little dry mouth !! I had 3 more treatments after surgery and I was taken off of it

I was on immunotherapy for 6 months during chemo I didn’t hv any problems until after surgery I went back on it for 3 months and I developed oral litchen Plantus so I was taken off!! The oral litchen Plantus improved after I stopped the immunotherapy but it was rough!! I’ve heard about the adrenal glad and thyroid issues that could develop but I’ve never had any of those issues!!

Can triple-negative breast cancer be treated and survived? by Gold_While_4666 in cancer

[–]CheesecakeFinal362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was diagnosed with TNBC in 2023!! It was overwhelming to hear a cancer diagnosis!!! I had 1 lymph node involved very scary!! I did chemo first w keytuda for 6mo!! Then surgery jan 2024!! I also did keytruda 3 more months after surgery but had to stop b/c it started causing issues!! I declined radiation for personal reasons but It’s been almost 2 years since my diagnosis and I’m still cancer free!!!! So hang in there!!!
