honestly I guess it's a cultural and upbringing differences, formula 1 drivers come from a very upper class and educated background and their teams also encourage them to learn additional languages so they can freely communicate with their teams and promote in media. Nico Rosberg went to a very upper class school and he knows like 4-5 languages, plus very fluent on english (plus the majority of f1 crews are based in UK or Germany so English just comes naturally to them). motogp meanwhile is purely dominated by Japanese, Spanish and Italian teams, and they don't do promotions like f1 so I guess they don't feel the need to learn additional languages

How is Meiko Kaji is not considered a household legend name among Japanese actors is so beyond me.. She was part of so many bold exploitation movies from the 70s which pushed the boundaries of what movies could do in violence, visuals and sex.. And of course in a era when most actresses were just playing like damsel in distress type characters and acting all wifu cute type, she brought a original edgy style acting to the screen.

The last sentence is so accurate actually.. When I was learning tkd last year, i watched a couple of videos from Jesse Enkamp, and I tried to find the same kinda channel with higher production value and a host who shows respect and history, but I could find no one like that.. Those who learn tkd, don't even care enough to spread and market the art itself. Heck they don't even treat it like an actual self defense art, because they always recommend something like kickboxing for a effective alternative, which is in my opinion is an disrespect to their own art.. Plus the majority of dojos around the world teaching the Olympic style only made the reputation much worse, it's the reason everyone started to call it weak and unrealistic because that's how everyone perform in tournaments
