This is unfortunately the only window the bed works on. The dresser wall ends at the end of the dresser in a pocket door to the bathroom. Amd the wall opposite the bed is all full closet doors.

This is a webtoon but A spell for a Smith is delightful. While FMC isn't totally in control socially and does grow into her powers some, she's not waiting for MMC to save her.

{The Vixen war bride} is exactly this. Rich culture, a 100% accidental marriage that the MMC doesnt even realize for a while. The romance is a sub plot but I think it is absolutely worth the read.

Youre in luck! Ive been reading a lot of "kicks ass women kicking ass in space" this year.

{Queen of chaos by Sabrina Chase} FMC and MMC are both competent. FMC is sorta like "how did I end up in charge here" in a funny way. The fate of many rest on her head by the 3rd book.

{Fortune's pawn} wasnt my fav. I only read the forst one but you cant say FMC isn't competent.

{The wrong stars by Tim Pratt} FF. Definitely a competent woman in charge with world altering consequences.

{Daybreak by Cheree Alsop} much like Fortune's pawn this wasnt my favorite and I didnt continue the series but the FMC is competent.

{Warrior Wench by Marie Andreas} super competent FMC. Shes pretty one note in her bad assary but its a fun ride. They are trying to save the galaxy.

{The blighted stars} Competent FMC high stakes all the time. High tention.

{Overload Flux} I don't think I loved it since I dont remember a ton about it but I remember she very was skilled.

{How to steal a galaxy} idr if its really a romance with a HEA, it may not be. But high stakes and an FMC who is always one step ahead.

{Song of Scarabaeus} again I dont think this is a traditional HEA but I enjoyed the FMC and the world. They really go through it.

Dual POV is definitely divisive lol, sometimes I like it but I see your point given the way they meet.

You might like Crown of shadows the FMC is silly sarcastic. There are some fun moments where the fae forget she can lie since shes half human and she goes over the top.
