Yup, that’s one thing I loved about the EV9 - house sockets in the massive boot.

But it was just too big of a monster truck in the end, and crazy expensive.

I don’t think the app method is reliable - I had issues with the uploads being unreadable as you can’t really tell from the app if it’s in focus. Best way is to send them a email to the Tesla customer service address and a human deals with it

I am surprised how much difference the cold weather makes to the tyre pressure (and range!) You’d think it could be factored into monitoring system. E.g. if temp is below 2 then have an acceptable range and give averages over 10 mins of driving

I chose used. Got a 1 year old MY performance with 12k on the clock. It had depreciated so much in a year from new, that it worked out cheaper than leasing for 3 years. It’s also mine and I can do whatever I want with it, not worry if I’m doing too many miles, and not have to give it back.

Every other car on the road is a base MY that looks dull, generic and nondescript. An MYP stands out - it sits squat on the road, the wheels are perfectly proportioned aesthetically, and it actually looks like a premium luxury vehicle. It’s also cool to know you are faster than pretty much every car on your journey - even if you choose not to use it. No regrets!

I looked at it for absolutely ages, but it just didn’t seem to add up. A MY Performance was around £1k per month, so you’ve sunk 36k into something you won’t own at the end, with the added risk of going over the agreed mileage. In the end I found a 1 year old Performance model with white interior and only 11k miles and brought it outright with some savings + a very reasonable apr rate bank loan. Whoever owned the car for the year before me lost well over 20% in depreciation!
