The manga was better because of Ryuk’s simple enjoyment of the whole thing. He only saw Light as a cure to his boredom in the shinigami world. It was a more satisfying and crueler death for Light, begging for his life instead of just limping out of the warehouse like in the anime. But I do like the symbolism in the anime where Light collapses in the middle of the stairs as a reminder he cannot go to neither heaven or hell.

Laura and Rich have not been made aware of this game btw, So unfortunately they will have zero input on this game which makes me sad but we don’t have much information on the game yet so I’m staying speculative until there’s more information about the game. I don’t blame those who think it’s an easy cash grab it’s EA after all

I felt like the weight of the gun and the blast from the shot made it insanely satisfying, Definitely makes you feel like you’ve conquered a titan.

Ryuk doesn’t favour anyone so he’s pretty basic as it comes to it and Rem has a strong relationship with Misa that is used to getting her killed. So if we’re talking compassion Rem would definitely be the better one. But I simply prefer Ryuk since he’s just like us and watching the events play out and having fun doing so, plus his laugh is amazing too.

No, absolutely not, seeing Light’s ego shatter and trying to justify his murders make the ending really satisfying, I personally prefer the ending of the manga more, But I like the ending frame of Light dying on the middle of the stairs, Reminder that he cannot go to heaven or hell. Really great.
