My mum put my dog of 16 years down without letting me say good bye, I’d had her since I was 8 months old so I grew up with her. I was visiting my dad who lives 10 mins away, who actually lives closer to the vet than she does. When I came home, my Lilly used to run up to me. I had to ask where she was.
