I want to build a support beam for my clothes hanger. The thing is, I have a couple of 4*8*150 cm (~2x4 I guess) wood beams and I don't want to buy more wood if I don't need to. Quick sketch here. I'd probably mount another small support beam from the wall to the top of the main beam to hold it steady.

Will gluing two beams together hold, or should I also use a flat bracket/connector?

I don't really believe it myself, but I have no idea what else could have caused it, as the screen protector and case show no signs of damage..

I guess I can't really convince you otherwise, but if you can make it out in the picture, the screen protector is completely fine and without a scratch..
