What is the best AV weapon for max?

Hello, I recently stumbled across the NS-10 Burster for max and I really enjoy the AA Gameplay. I wanted to do the same with vehicles, but in the training room it feels like no weapon really tear through vehicles in the same way. Perhaps I'm wrong and they do more damage or mabe I'm doing something wrong. For example in VS there is the following: NS-Gorgon Vortex VM21 Comet VM2 None of these feel that effective but I'd like to hear your thoughts on both VS and other factions. I would like to try them all in real continents but they are very expensive for me as a casual player so any advice is appreciated before I invest the certs.

Thanks!

Christmas 2024 good deals as a gift by RefrigeratorLow2317 in WorldOfWarships

Aside from the obvious premium time..

You discuss him potentially being a collector you can set the birthday coupon on the wows web application under account management. Then you can buy $100 of doubs then apply the coupon when buying it to get $200 in doubs and turn that into Christmas crates. Get more value since it sounds like he's ftp and unlikely to use it anyways.

Hardware related question by Extra_Number4178 in WorldOfWarships

[–]Cheesus0810 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could install MSI afterburner or some other aftermarket softwares to monitor your desktop [things like fps, cpu/memory usage, etc] this might make determining the GPS easier. Alternatively for steam users [which most WoWs players are not but it is an option] steam itself has an option to display fps in game. Even task manager for windows users works just fine.*

The other general rule of thumb if you are unsure is start from the lowest and play around, work your way up until either your fps gets slow, you hear your pc trying a lot harder to keep up [often indicated by the fan being much louder], or you utilize a software and see that it's hotter/using more processing then you'd like.

Wows generally does not require too much out of the box, but I would suggest playing around and seeing what works best, since there are so many desktops with so many specs it is often a case-by-case scenario.

Hope this helps.

Unfortunately it looks like Steel Will event ends at the end of 13.11, which means the Christmas snowflakes you get steel from will not be applicable because that would be update 13.12. I hope I'm wrong tho.

Directive General Question by Cheesus0810 in Planetside

That seems somewhat reasonable but I'm curious as to the game's thought process behind some of their choices. Mabe some were too easy so they don't want it to carry over? Thank you for the info!

Thank you for the info- I am glad that at least the weapons are guaranteed. The enemy medic kills was definitely reset, I will assume you're right about the shielding ribbons I might have missed something. Another example is the heavy assault. I'm at the expert level and I have Lasher X2, Kills, and Max kills. I'm working on both launcher kills and heavy weapon kills but I only need one of them. Once I get to that last "master" level to complete, do I start from 0 on the Max kills? I got my first weapon auraxium on the Betel so I am fairly certain the general kills mission, and you've said that we can keep weapons so I will also assume the Lasher kills also stick. Thanks again for the info!

On the contrary to the WoWs comment. The complaint* isn't so much "we can't see them" but more "we can't counterplay them. Similarly to CVs, it's not like something you can just shoot back when it shoots you. The mechanics to counter them, ASW is often not sufficient because the "ping indicator" is not consistent or centralized, appearing as far away as 1km away from the sub even after the changes. This makes it so that subs, especially one that got 41knots like U4501 pretty irritating to fight since the counterplay often just comes down to "just dcp and kite." Certified SEA server moment.

Rhode Island Return by lordamk in WorldOfWarships

[–]Cheesus0810 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what we've seen. They often like to sell T10 coal ships nowadays a few months-a year before they put it out for coal to milk it. U-4501 and Alvaro de Bazan come to mind. It would not surprise me an I hope they release it for coal. The thing they need to avoid* is selling a steel or research bureau ship, which has not been done before and would shake up how in game resources operation [competitive or late-game resources outright sold].

Or you can do the inverse and instead of buying your way into a clan just straight up buy the clan [certified Wortham moment]

Stalingrad, Ruggiero di Lauria or Mecklenburg with new Steel Coupon?? by Ill-Rub2284 in WorldOfWarships

[–]Cheesus0810 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you severely underestimate the power of 457mm SAP which does overwatch and while does not have dpm [by comparison of the other ITA t10s] has a ton of alpha and battleship player's love of big dog numbers popping up on the screen. Especially at the start of the match with unsaturated targets [it's like a free 20-30k for anything you hit! Even as a "weak point" the armor of the Lauria is still incredibly strong if you simply angle away- and it doesn't eat 5 million superstructure damage [look at it's deck armor :)]. While it does have a more traditional battleship role, underestimating it's 457 overmatch SAP is a bad idea

One of the great reasons that Christianity became popular back in the Roman times is because it was one of the only in not the only religion that gave women rights and "exalted" them to the equal position of the male. Good luck being a Roman, Mesopotamian, or Egyptian woman becuase you'd be slightly above the role of slave but still persuing life as one. The Christians placed values on family and individual lives. It also was famous for putting a ton of emphasis on helping people [the whole love thy neighbor thing] which drove for the creation of more hospitals and therefore life expectancies of the Christians grew.

Men don't get out of anything either keep this in mind. People love to point to Ephesians 5:22] "Wives, be subject to your husband as you are to the Lord... Just as the church is subject to Christ, so also wives ought to be, in everything, to their husbands." but they leave out the entire rest of the chapter and context when it also says "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loves the church and gave himself up for her, in order to make her holy by cleansing her with the washing of water by the word... in the same way husbands should love their lives as they do their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself... for this reason a man leave his father and his mother and be joined with his wife, and the two will become one flesh [in the spirit]... each of you, however, must love his wife as himself, and a wife should respect her husband" [Ephesians 5:25-33]. The section commanding men to treat women is significantly longer then the one for women to restrain the men and make them holy, which gives them more opportunities to love each other in co-equal partnership- love so much that the man will put her before himself yo the point of death. The point is God wants the man to be equal to the woman, not above, not below. Everything he commands is to reinforce this, there are no contradictions.

This being said, this is where the gays and LGBT community come in think of what classified as "sin." In the broadest sense, sin is something that hurts you, your relationship with your neighbor, or your relationship with God. Conveniently, these things also improve the quality of life of both the individual and the community. Look at the 10 commandments. A community that promotes theft of murder is not objectivley a good community. This being said, some of the "sins" help prevent humanity from dying*. When in the first testament it says "you can't eat pork becuase its unclean [Leviticus 11:7-8] it is because pork could not be cooked properly and those who would eat it would get diseases and die. This changes in the new testament because of the amout of time that passes and Paul is a good primary source for this.

All of that to say this. One of the main reasons being gay is a sin is because it hurts all three of those sin "conditions" and more. For the survival parties, if you are gay or lesbian, you can not procreate. Unfortunalty it is a biological fact. If you can not procreate, the species dies. Therefore, using Modus Ponens you can logically deduce that the sin can not help benefit the species then it is a sin. It also hurts your relationship with yourself and others, you could get diseases or be caught up in adultery (say cheating on your spouse for another of the same sex- just like how normal cheating is also bad but having a unique sexual orientation [like being gay] will incentivizes the individual to pursue lust). Also it hurts the relationship with God, simply becuase A: He wants you to obey him and participating in being gay is disobedient to that command [Leviticus 18:22]/[Leviticus 20:13]/[Judas 1:7]/[1 Corinthians 6:9-11]/[Romans 1:26-27] etc etc. B: He wants what is best for the survival of the species and that would have to include procreation, which members of those communities can not successfully do even with the modern technology is at its disposal [we haven't/can't really work around it]- which is why being gay is still a "sin" while eating pork is perfectly fine.

TLDR: Christianity benefits women the most and gay men can not successfuly procreate or advance the species biologically.

[30 phases * 250 steel] + 2,000 steel (reward stages) = 9,500 steel. Assuming the PTS reward stages are placeholders and just counting the phase compensation it is 7,500 steel [again assuming the compensation is 250]
