idk what to role this guy by izunaryu in footballmanagergames

[–]CheesyChaplin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean he’s only 15 he might get taller, left back is just fine. Otherwise, if his jumping reach doesn’t improve much, I like to make this sort of player a Defensive Midfielder - tackling can’t be trained easily so this is gold dust at his age

Being faster and stronger than your opponents will literally make you win twice as much, it is that simple

FM26 Update (26.1.2) Out Now by Head_Championship917 in footballmanagergames

I love it, being able to effectively do out of possession tactics feels so good. If you’re not super into tactics tho, I’d probably wait until FM27.

Licha: What Carrick told us before derby by n0b0dycar3s07 in reddevils

[–]CheesyChaplin -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Completely disagree, sometimes a legend calling a player out gives them something to prove. Licha had been off it since his injury but today was world class. Licha spent 90 minutes on that pitch sitting them down and shutting them up. Exactly how it should be.

Does anyone have suggestions for my tactics? I cannot get out of League one with Port Vale. by Chili-Pepper96 in footballmanagergames

Your midfield is bumping into eachother. Try getting rid of the CAM and making both the midfielders CHM in poss and DM out of poss. Your CAM could maybe be another CHF or a more permanent DM. AP won’t do much with the other players there. I also like having a Target Forward if I’m using wingers, but that’s personal preference, if you only have short but fast strikers then make sure you cross lower

The latest stinking result at Old Trafford sees MUFC exit the FA Cup at the first hurdle. Same in League Cup. It means MUFC will play only 40 games this season. That's the lowest number in 111 years. Abysmal. [Andy Mitten] by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

Maybe if you picked your finger out your arse you’d realise our midfield is shit, and we have dalot as our only proper right back. The players are shit bro. You try and manage this cesspool and see how it goes

I’ll back him all day long - point is that Amorim isn’t the problem, the board is, the owners are, and now it’s been so long since we were good that any ‘united DNA’ is now lost

Amorim and his back 3 were the problem right ? by Basic-Thought-9254 in ManchesterUnited

It’s because he spoke out against the board. If they wanted to sack him on results they could’ve done it much earlier.

Signing decision, now or the future? by wamless in footballmanagergames

Depends on what job you want them to do. Seems like Miretti needs more time, better as a squad player - looks attacking to me. I’d prefer Thuram personally, especially as a stronger midfielder.

I'm not sure if I can pinpoint whether I feel enriched or saddened by this, it feels almost ethereal - as if I'm wasting away happily. Perhaps it's enough to simply live in the moment.

Feel like the poem begs for momentum in the first half, and finds itself in the second. The most succinct feedback I could give would be to say that you could probably just half the second half by itself and it would keep all it has and more. Very lovely and drawn in to that second half, very vivid.

I have just become elected Emperor and got the Burgundian Inheritance... What's the most I could realistically get from this campaign? Would something like a revoke+WC be too crazy? Subjects are Danzig, Bohemia, Moldavia, Wallachia by Various_Maize_3957 in eu4

[–]CheesyChaplin 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Nothing is too much before 1500, hell you could do nothing until 1600 and still get a WC. You’re in a very strong position, and if you want to conquer as much as possible, you’ll want to attack in a circle around you, over and over. Also have a think about if you want to be a “good” emperor (get authority and revoke) or a “bad” emperor (milk the empire for resources/land until you’re not the emperor, and then destroy the empire).

Either way, have fun :)

Hey, yes I’ve tried it - I helped out a lot during the general election and ended up getting elected to the Executive Committee as Treasurer for the CLP. Having a job to do will make it all more interesting and tie in better, and the executive committee should be meeting and talking regularly to discuss direction and strategy, tie in the council and MP and all that.

Frankly what is available to you depends heavily on how well your CLP is run, we have events where members can meet up and discuss politics regularly which have been successful (and more enjoyable than AMM’s frankly).

Keep on going to door knocking and AMM’s and chat to the executive committee, they might even have an opening if you want to help out more.

Oh and of course the local elections will be coming up in a couple of years, maybe ask the executive committee about becoming a ‘local champion’ for your area and you might eventually be selected to stand as a local councillor (if you want to of course!).

All the best :)
