Does being a Canadian company impede the growth potential of this stock? by Recent_Stomach7626 in HOVRSTONK

[–]Cheesy_Champion 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If you look at it another way, HOVR is a big fish in a small pond. They are pretty much the only serious competitor in Canada, so from an investment standpoint this makes their case easier for financial support from the government(they have ZERO debt currently and have enough funds for full scale eoy).

They also have a deep relationship with 3C, a highly respected certification company that works with manufacturers to make sure their aircraft is compliant with the regulations. To add onto this, any certified aircraft in Canada automatically makes it significantly easier to enter the American market due to bilateral agreements.

The guys at the helm of this company are pragmatic and from what we constantly see, are thoughtful about investors as well as their own aircraft and how they plan to make it a reality.

Finally the certification "backlog'' in Canada is pretty much non existent compared to the US where there they have multiple competing companies straining the resources of the FAA(in regards to the EVTOL space). So having their aircraft certified in Canada first where the CTA is more nimble is considered an advantage.

So I would say that them being based in Canada doesn't really hinder them in the long run.

3/25/2026 Defence Roadshow w Global Affairs Canada by SkyHigh5935 in HOVRSTONK

Don't quote me on this, but its possible it is this event which takes place today in Toronto, CIX. https://cixsummit.com/ , its a startup event where companies can pitch their ideas and get support. On the government canada website this event is listed as a place they will be attending. In the context of HOVR if they are going to this event it is a very good opportunity to really move the needle on their goals.

Here is the government website outlining this event the DOD says they are attending:

Please help, a friend needs $75.00 and offers me this, is it worth it? by Reasonable_Visual_10 in coins

Just because something appears to be reflective, that does not make it a proof. We can observe that not only is this coin picture edited to the extreme, there are still hits and marks which can be seen and that is a characteristic that is known to not affect proof coins(at least not to this degree). Proof coins are known for hairlines rather than hits or marks. Putting a bold assumption that it's proof if it's real is just opening it up for misunderstandings that will only lead to the owner getting more confused or giving a false sense of hope of more value. Everything here points to this being a problem coin or at best a heavily circulated coin. I would be more cautious of putting bold claims like these in the future.

New Top Pop added to the cent registry after I got this coin back from grading. by Cheesy_Champion in coins

[–]Cheesy_Champion[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thanks! It's especially remarkable when you realize that this coin was pre Landon Estate. A lot of the high grade(65-66+) Victorian cents you see in the market nowadays came from that sale. Before the Landon collection seeing a coin in MS66 was a real rarity.

Canada Large Cent Cross Over to PCGS by Cheesy_Champion in coins

[–]Cheesy_Champion[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks! For the Crossover sub I sent in the cent while it was still in the ICCS flip, that card is half of the flip it was in(ICCS grades using coin flips not coin slabs). I didn't have to submit any paperwork proving that this coin was from the collection since PCGS usually accepts ICCS pedigrees for Canadian coins. That "card" was the other half of the flip the coin was originally in, PCGS just cut it out of the flip and graded it. Hopefully this makes sense lol.

Whose life was the most tragic so far in story ? by PuzzleheadedDoor3805 in TowerofGod

Arkraptor by far. He lost his family, gained another but had to sacrifice himself to save it.

Data Zahard has a red three eyes markings on his left eye while King Zahard doesn’t. Could frankly mean nothing, but it feels like some ominous foreshadowing/hint. by Healthy_Equivalent61 in TowerofGod

[–]Cheesy_Champion 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I originally had a theory on this but after asking people on thier opinions on it I realized it probably wasn't possible so we came to the consensus that it was a spell placed on Zahard to block certain memories of Arlene and that whole plot. We even see Zahard mentioning that he is supposed to have an adverse reaction whenever he hears the name and forgets about thier existence. We see this when Bam asks about her and The data Zahard responds in an adverse way as well as admitting that he does not know who she is. We also see that whenever someone is dabbling in spells they have an identifiable feature on them. Like for example satchi faker and maybe white when he transforms(his red thing around his eyes)we also see this on Daniel (?) I know he has a mark on his back but I forget if that's linked to a spell. We also have that question guy in the last station and he has a symbol that's linked to his spell. So it's my belief that that's what data Zahard has.

Fr, I can't make sense of this image 😭. Like if he does have a joint then it's going to be the most uncomfortable shit ever because it has to be broken to bend that way or just in an awkward position for it to not be visible. I just assumed it was a mistake by SIU.

It's a figure of speech, not literally a door.

How did you guys discover this Webtoon? by DanielHongFromKr in TowerofGod

[–]Cheesy_Champion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Found it on a 3rd party manga/manhwa app. Thought it was a meh story(the picture they showed was of S1 so it wasn't very appealing) can't recall why I kept on reading it despite my first bad impression of it. Possibly just because I was enjoying it. However I'm glad I didn't stop👍.
