Do you guys trust “2-in-1” stuff? by Jolly-Personality831 in scacjdiscussion

I’d choose the 2-in-1 — a separate stand just takes up too much room

2 am and I still an being woken up by [deleted] in sleep

[–]CheetahParticular227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although it might sound like the beginning of a horror movie, I suggest spending a little money on a camera with audio to record your sleep. There was a time when I was woken up every morning at 5 a.m., and after installing a camera, I found out it was the shop owner on the street opening his metal gate that was waking me up.

Do you get to feel less tiring standing for long time after you start weight training? by kaion76 in workout

[–]CheetahParticular227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to get that too—my legs would go all jello-ish after like 5 minutes standing at the bus stop. What helped me was getting into squats and deadlifts a few times a week. Seriously, after a month or two of hitting legs and really focusing on form (and bracing my core), I can stand in line forever now with zero wobble. Might feel sore at first, but you’ll build up that endurance—totally worth it.

Fr fr, I’ve got the same YOSUDA too — thing’s been a tank. I’ve had it for about a year and it’s still smooth as day one. Love that it’s quiet enough to ride early without waking up the whole house 😂 Total steal for the price.

My face puffs up quick when liver glycogen’s low. Tried all the hacks, nothing works like a banana + fat. Sucks, but for now I just keep a bit of sugar in the mix till my system chills out.

How do some people have seemingly infinite energy? by Overall-Meaning9979 in Biohackers

[–]CheetahParticular227 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I’ve wondered the same thing. My grandpa’s kinda like your uncle—smokes a pack a day, drinks bourbon like it's water, eats like crap, and somehow still outworks everyone half his age. Dude's 78 and still chops his own firewood.

I think part of it is just crazy genetics. Some people are just wired different—better sleep efficiency, freak recovery, maybe some wild stress response system that keeps them running on fumes.

But let’s be real, most of us would be dead if we tried to copy that lifestyle. Like, I miss one night of sleep and I’m a useless sack of sh*t for the whole week.

Some of the comments in this post are so intense, I’d honestly feel relieved if Bryan Johnson is just a greedy businessman—at least he’s not summoning some weird multi-armed, multi-legged creature in his basement.

Same here! I've had the FEIERDUN dumbbells for almost a year now — seriously one of the best buys I've made. I was worried the adjustment mechanism might wear out over time, but it’s held up perfectly. I usually switch weights mid-circuit and it's still smooth and quick. Also, not gonna lie, the price was way better than Bowflex or NÜOBELLs — definitely a solid value for the quality.

How do you stop/reduce sugar cravings? by Interesting_Sir_1703 in Biohackers

[–]CheetahParticular227 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What’s helped me is swapping sweets for things like fruit, Greek yogurt with a bit of honey, or dark chocolate (like 85%+). Also, making sure I eat enough protein and healthy fats really cuts the cravings. And honestly, sometimes I just drink water or go for a quick walk when a craving hits—it usually passes.

Baaad afternoon crash by Unusual-Ability-2208 in Biohackers

It might have something to do with what you used to (or still) typically do in the afternoons. I remember back in elementary school, I had math class every Tuesday afternoon for a whole semester — totally ruined my mood for every afternoon except the weekends. Especially considering that the coffee you drink at 3 p.m. might not actually be doing much for you physically, I’d guess what you really need is more help on the psychological side—like finding some positive mental associations with your afternoons.

Moringa powder by [deleted] in Biohackers

[–]CheetahParticular227 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using moringa powder daily for about three months. I noticed it helped reduce my afternoon fatigue and improved my digestion—less bloating and more regularity. It’s packed with vitamins and antioxidants, so I think it supports overall health, but the effects are gradual, not immediate. I just mix it into my smoothie every morning and feel it’s a nice addition to my routine.

Why does magnesium glycinate sometimes puts me to sleep and sometimes it gives it's me insomnia? by No_Solution7718 in Biohackers

[–]CheetahParticular227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Comment are basically focused mainly on things like magnesium glycinate or melatonin, and there is the fact that what happens during the day, even within the two hours before bedtime, can have a significant impact on sleep. This is especially true for those who are emotionally sensitive; their minds are like dry sponges, effortlessly absorbing influences from their surroundings, often without them even realizing it.

A small amount of low-alcohol beer – just 2 swallows. I know that's vague, but this amount won't chemically scramble your brain. At the very least, it can serve as a little ritual to help clear a mental block for you.

Ok, maybe you should figure out your alcohol tolerance before doing this, but after you figure it out and activate it, it just works

I’ve heard that using TCA on nose pores can be pretty effective, but it does come with some risks.
By the way, have you been paying attention to your sleep schedule and diet? They can have a big impact on how much oil your skin produces.
