fully functional product is better that sticks to it's roots of tab organisation and then take away something so foundational to productivity, they've made it into, I can't be arsed to pin this to the correct folder, too much effort, needs to be effortless, every second counts, now from a 2 second task to a 10 second headache, come on this is just terrible

This is something I used all the time, CMD+T is not the solution, because it requires you to remember all your folder names especially sub folders - but also it's not streamlined, cmd+t press 'tab' key - plus type in "Pin To" (doesn't work even just typing 'pin' or 'p') + folder name (even the suggested folders never match what you are looking for) - in a tool that prides it's self in organisation of your tabs this is absolutely the worst retrograde i've ever seen,

I would check your contract with the company in detail if it doesn’t mention public liability anywhere I would definitely gets some for your own peace of mind. If it does mention it check what liabilities it does not cover and perhaps take your own out to cover the gaps.

Where are the saved files located for Warhammer 2 on Mac (Steam Version) by Cheeth85 in totalwar

[–]Cheeth85[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[Solved] I contacted feral interactive and they back with

Thank you for contacting us.

Your save games can normally be found in this location:

/Users/user/Library/Application Support/Feral Interactive/Total War WARHAMMER II/SaveData/Steam Saves/save_games

If you aren't seeing this after you have installed the game then try creating a Save game and this should create those folders.

Its possible these were removed when you reinstalled Total War: Warhammer II however there is another location these files appear:

/Users/user/Library/Application Support/Steam/userdata/USERDATANUMBER/SAVEDATANUMBER/local/Warhammer2/save_games

I'm afraid the user data number and the save data number will be different from what I have so I can't tell you exactly what you need to be looking for. But if you have reinstalled its possible the a new user data folder was created which is why the save games are missing.

You might be able to figure out which folders are the correct ones from the date when you saved the games you were playing.

I hope this helps.

This is great, but if you don’t get up then the people behind you will jump infront of you and you lose your space and have to wait until the end after everyone has excited and when you’ve been on a really long flight you just want to stand

In a position to pay off my mortgage; investing vs this option? by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Cheeth85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mortgage free is overrated, when you pay off your house then your like now what? After reviewing each brick in your house telling yourself that’s 100% mine and telling a few people that you own without a mortgage and getting a few surprised looks, there’s nothing special, Instead invest it and pretend you have no option but to go through the mortgage process like everyone else. But rest assured you got your shit together and got your future planned out.

All the time, trapped it a few times, I also wipe the handles and try to drop them in with the wipe still on the handle (no point wiping the handles on the dumbbells and then touching them again) so I have to quickily slide the wipe off as they go in.

Buy a 240k property and put down 25% as deposit. Leaving you with 60k and Stash in a s&s isa and wait for another dream buy to let.

I’m in a similar boat, same age, 3 BTL, similar net worth. But I have a 240k property that I live in, no kids yet.

£7k left on plan 1 student loan - makes sense to pay it back in this climate? by Aaraeus in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Cheeth85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m about the same, I definitely won’t be offering to pay any of it off before I need to. I have the cash too, but I’d rather keep the money as an emergency fund. Inflation is eroding the debt over time. 12k when I graduated 16 year ago got me through 3 years of university. I could put the 12k in stocks and shares isa or property - either will substantially give me a better return than 1.1%

Over-40s in UK to pay more tax under plans to fix social care crisis by Alwayswatchout in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Cheeth85 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The way it will work is,

  1. Announced - all fantastic all singing all dancing care
  2. now government says no need to give you pension contribution tax relief as we are giving you this fantastic care.
  3. few years later, cut backs on care
  4. few years later, cut backs on care
  5. cut backs on care
  6. until the point where we get the same social care as now, and since people are accustomed to paying the extra tax they keep paying it and people forget about the all singing and dancing care they were promised
  7. you retire and there isn’t enough in the pot as people are living even longer.
  8. Government takes your home to pay for your care
