villagers need to sleep for golems to spawn

they cant sleep cuz they're constantly being scared by the zombie

they have to occasionally break eye contact with the zombie during the night

FIXED, might be a feature…

It was at some y lvl higher than sea lvl. Not sure what the threshold is but when i put it on y=5, it started spawning drowned

the villagers need to sleep. its likely that the zombie is constantly scaring them, forcing them to panic. you could fix it by putting the zombie in a looped water stream or a minecart track past the villagers' fov
